Tottenham player wants to be a big success in Premier League
Tottenham Hotspur have started the Premier League season strongly so far, with the club currently sitting third as we enter the final international break before the main event this winter: the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Antonio Conte’s side has managed to pick up a number of important results which has helped them to climb the table, and they will look to do so again when the players return to north London as they have their fierce rivals Arsenal in the first game back from the break.
Indeed, the game can be rather heated at times, with it carrying a bit of needle between the players. Fans, though, continue to love the action that it provides on the field as it does provide them with a number of betting opportunities. Many will continue to use the betting resource at SNOG for all of their needs ahead of the game, because they know they will be able to get great bonuses that they can use from trusted and licensed platforms, thus enhancing their overall matchday experiences.
One player that will want to make sure he plays well for Spurs, should he be selected, is Clement Lenglet, with the FC Barcelona loanee keen to do well during his time at the Premier League club.
The French defender arrived on a temporary deal in the summer and while there is no buy option included in the deal, it seems he would be keen to remain at the club if he is able to be a success in England’s – and one of world football’s – top division.
Football.London’s Alasdair Gold has recently been speaking about the defender and what he had found out from the player after speaking to him earlier in the summer while the team were continuing its preseason preparations out in Isreal.
He wrote in an Q&A article: “I asked Lenglet out there about what comes next, as there’s no option to buy him, and he said the coming months will decide what happens. He wants to be a big success in the Premier League and then it’s down to Spurs and Barcelona to speak about the future.”
Lenglet has managed four appearances for the club so far this season and will be wanting to be a key player for Antonio Conte moving forward, and with the manager appearing to have a liking for him since arriving, we could see the experienced player take to the pitch a little more than he already has so far.
Of course, with no buy option, there is no real risk involved in the deal if he does not work out, but should Tottenham want to sign him permanently, they could have to fork out a figure that they may not be prepared to, even if FC Barcelona continue to desperately need funds and to offload players.
Nonetheless, it will be an interesting season and Spurs will want it to be successful and hopefully, Lenglet can help them to achieve that!
