Tottenham host Everton in the 5:30 Premier League match this Saturday.

Spurs come into the contest off the back of two consecutive wins, while Everton’s seven-match unbeaten run ended with a defeat last time out.

We look at the form of each team and the potential key players who can make a difference in this contest.

Tottenham Form and Key Players

Tottenham bounced back from a 3-1 North London derby loss and a 0-0 draw at Eintracht Frankfurt with back-to-back wins for the first time since early September.

Spurs beat Brighton 1-0 in the Premier League before defeating Frankfurt (3-2) at home in the Champions League. The Frankfurt win extended Spurs’ 100% winning run at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this season with six wins from their six matches.

Home form has been key for Antonio Conte’s side recently, as they sit third in the Premier League on 20 points. Tottenham has won their last seven league matches at home, scored 20 and conceded just five.

In addition, Harry Kane and Son Heung-min have been standout performers for the North Londoners this season. In particular, Kane has made a strong start to the season, scoring eight league goals in nine appearances. It’s understandable then that with their most prolific goal scorer on form, the fans who like to bet on the team are also trying their luck with casino games, such as this blackjack simulator.

Son has also returned to form the international break in top form as he scored a brace in the Frankfurt game. The South Korean also struck a hat-trick in Spurs’ last Premier League home match – a 6-3 win over Leicester.

Everton Form and Key Players

After losing their first two matches of the season, Everton bounced back with a six-match unbeaten run in the Premier League. Four consecutive draws came before back-to-back wins over West Ham (1-0) and Southampton (2-1).

But the Toffees couldn’t add to their decent run of form and fell to a 2-1 home defeat against Man United on Sunday. Despite the defeat, Frank Lampard’s side are in 12th place in the Premier League with 10 points.

Despite the decent run of recent form, Everton’s away record is inconsistent. The Toffees are winless in 19 of their last 21 on the road in the Premier League. Although, the Merseyside club are unbeaten in their last three, drawing two and winning one.

To make Everton’s trip to Spurs tougher this Saturday, top scorer Anthony Gordon is a major doubt through injury. As a result, Lampard will rely on Neal Maupay, Alex Iwobi, Demarai Gray or Dwight McNeil to lead the line, with each player scoring once this season.

Prediction

Tottenham like to attack at home and Conte’s side are building confidence following two impressive wins in the last week. Kane and Son are likely to cause problems for an Everton defence that has kept just one clean sheet in one of their last 20 on the road.

In addition, most of Everton’s recent points have come from mid to lower-table opposition and the Toffees struggled against Man United last weekend at home.

The Toffees face a tough test at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and a home win is likely in North London on Saturday evening.
