We look ahead to Monday nights game vs Fulham.

North London meets West this Monday night when a visiting Fulham squad makes the short trip to face Tottenham Hotspur in a highly anticipated derby. It’s an early title quest behind an unbeaten streak this term for the home side, but can their capital rivals put a chink in the armour of Spurs, who’ve been unstoppable in the Premier League up to matchday 8.

Ange Postecoglou’s team remains undefeated at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this season. At the same time, the Cottagers have failed to secure a victory in any of their four London derbies in the Premier League.

When, Where, Watch, & Kick-Off Time

The match between Tottenham and Fulham is set to kick off at 8 pm BST on Monday, October 23, 2023, at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

The game will be televised on Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Premier League, and Sky Sports Ultra HDR. Coverage will commence at 6.30 pm BST. Sky Sports subscribers can watch the game through a live stream on the Sky Go App.

Tottenham vs. Fulham: Form Guide

After playing eight matches, Tottenham Hotspur, currently at the top of the table, have the same number of points as Arsenal in second place. Both teams have achieved six victories and two draws.

With 20 points out of a possible 24, Tottenham Hotspur is in a favourable position at the summit of the standings due to their superior goal difference. Tottenham Hotspur has scored more Premier League goals than all but three teams this season, and they have conceded fewer goals than only four teams.

Due to their consistent performance, Postecoglou’s team is already considered a potential title contender, although there is still a long way to go.

Fulham holds a record of three wins, two draws, and three defeats, placing them in 12th position in the standings, nine points behind the high-performing Tottenham.

Fulham’s start to the 2023-24 season has been inconsistent, as they have only managed to gather 11 points out of a possible 24, leaving them in the middle of the table without much attention. Earlier in the season, the team achieved clean-sheet victories against Everton and Luton Town, followed by a 3-1 win over Sheffield United before the international break.

Unfortunately, Marco Silva’s squad has also suffered disappointing losses, including a 3-0 defeat to Brentford and a 5-1 loss to Manchester City. It is important to note that Fulham has only won one of their four away games this season, conceding seven goals in the process.

Tottenham vs. Fulham: Injury Updates

Spurs are hopeful for a double injury boost as Heung-min Son and Cristian Romero undergo assessments following their return from international duty.

Son, who has been dealing with a groin injury, was in pain while playing for South Korea. Similarly, Romero suffered a knock to his right ankle while representing Argentina. However, both players are expected to be fit and ready to face Fulham.

Unfortunately, Yves Bissouma cannot play due to suspension, but Brennan Johnson may be involved. Fulham will be without Tosin Adarabioyo, who recently had groin surgery and has been previously linked with a move to Spurs.

There are doubts surrounding Kenny Tete and Adama Traore’s availability. At the same time, Issa Diop is unlikely to feature after experiencing discomfort in his foot, described by Marco Silva as a “crack”, during Sheffield United’s match before the international break.

Tottenham vs. Fulham: The Betting Odds

Tottenham 1/2

Fulham 5/1

Draw 7/2

Tottenham are the clear favourites with odds of 1/2 at our favourite UK sportsbooks. However, we can place a bet on the hosts to overcome a -1 handicap on the Asian Handicap at odds of 81/100, which provides a significant increase in the potential payout.

By selecting this option, we will receive our winnings if the hosts win by a margin of two or more goals. If they win by only one goal, our stakes will be returned. This offers a favourable opportunity to make a profit.

Tottenham vs. Fulham: Prediction

One of the leading trends in this fixture shows that Fulham hasn’t won a London derby against Tottenham since March 2013. Furthermore, they’ve lost 3 of their previous 4 visits to a Tottenham ground.

Of course, the trends are historic and don’t necessarily represent a team’s current form. However, it’s arguably the best start to a season that Spurs have had this decade, and to expect a mid-tier side in Fulham to enter the Tottenham Hotspur stadium and crush their undefeated streak is wishful thinking.

The sides recently met in the EFL Cup, and Fulham triumphed. However, Fortune did favour the Cottagers as it took an own goal and a 5-3 penalty shootout to send their rivals packing. This loss remains Postecoglou’s only defeat as a Spurs boss, and you can guarantee he’ll want to get this one back on Monday night.

As previously mentioned, Tottenham is currently experiencing great success this term and can maintain their flawless home record by defeating Fulham. Under Ange Postecoglou’s guidance, Tottenham has already achieved victories against Manchester and Liverpool at home. The hosts are expected to outperform Fulham, who appear to be a much weaker team this season.

Tottenham vs. Fulham Best Bet: Spurs -1 Asian Handicap @ 81/100

Tottenham vs. Fulham Best Betting Value: Heung-min Son Anytime Goalscorer @ 11/10

Tottenham vs. Fulham Score Prediction: 3-0
