Following the news that Spurs’ Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is hosting further NFL games in 2025, with the likes of the New York Jets, Cleveland Browns, and Jacksonville Jaguars coming to the capital, some members of the Tottenham community will be considering attending one or more of the games. Of course, the best football at Tottenham’s new home is from Ange Postecoglou’s troops, but American football is still worth sampling.

After all, American football is experiencing dramatic growth here. Whether Spurs fans like it or not, the club has played a massive part in that as Tottenham’s stunning stadium is the only purpose-built NFL venue outside of the U.S. Fans have been enjoying their NFL visits to the stadium, they turn up in their droves wearing team merchandise, and NFL podcasts and apps are now prevalent in the UK. Additionally, many UK fans are probably planning on taking the day off work after watching the Super Bowl through the night and backing their favorite team after looking at the latest Super Bowl odds, with there being an unmissable feast of entertainment on offer.

Food is a key component of any NFL experience.

While the atmosphere and harder hits make for a memorable spectacle, many Spurs fans attend NFL games to sample some classic American cuisine when the football action is in town. Even during Spurs home games, most fans generally like the food inside the stadium. Sure, it might be a tad overpriced, but it’s to be expected, especially as a London venue. From signature pies and fish and chips to jerk chicken-loaded waffle fries and salt beef bagels, there is generally something for everyone.

When the NFL comes to London, though, the food offering at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium arguably goes up a level. While some favorites remain, there are likely to be some new inclusions that will almost certainly tickle your fancy. With that in mind, let’s take a brief look at some of the potential offerings Spurs fans are likely to be able to demolish while taking in one of America’s favorite pastimes in their stunning new home. All of the food featured is what NFL fans are used to seeing at football games in America.

Cotton Candy Burrito

Whether or not this particular dish will be available in London remains to be seen, but the cotton candy burrito is a thing. It contains cotton candy-flavored ice cream and various sweet treats like sprinkles and marshmallows before being wrapped in a sweet tortilla. Found at the Arizona Cardinals’ home, this option divides opinion.

Corn dog

A classic American treat that is undoubtedly going to be on offer at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, corn dogs have been associated with American sports for decades. There are some different versions of them throughout the States, although the main ingredients are a hot dog coated in cornmeal batter and deep fried.

Short rib sandwich

We love our sandwiches in the UK, and this short rib option would surely go down well with fans. This meaty delight is popular at the Kansas City Chiefs’ home, containing pepper jack cheese, crispy onions, a spicy barbecue sauce, and some succulent beef.

Pizza burger

Is anyone for pizza and a burger combined? Well, that’s precisely what’s on offer at the AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. Instead of the usual buns, pizza fills the void.

Other classic American grub fans could see at the 2025 NFL International Games include nachos, pretzels, and chicken wings.
