He's played 351 league minutes since April 2014. His durability is in question, couple of major knee ops, Poch's famed double sessions would put his body under stress. Even as a 3rd reserve I think we should be swerving him.
The story should be coming soon. The conditions are very much the same as they were in the last summer window, similar when we signed Son. That signing came out of nowhere.

Was thinking the same thing. Might also be the only way they will deal with us after the Toby debacle of last summer. Don't see why they would necessarily need Mason, but that is there problem to figure out.
Why was it a debacle?
Imagine letting Son, Mason, Benteleb and Chadli go and only bringing Nkodou in...where would people think we will finish?
