Transfers Summer 2016 Transfer Window Thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Fuck me why wouldn't you just offer a bit more for isco? I'd rather spend the 45 on him and get a player who is technically better than any other player that we have. Just screams of being cheap for the sake of it.

Best Case: SIssoko, Isco, Nkoudou

Worst Case: Saha, Nelson and Andy Booth on loan.

Point is that of all the terrible transfer windows we have had to suffer through, this one has hardly been the worse. In fact we did our business unexpectedly early, in time for the first game even, which has often been a criticism of Levy by many on here.

We've sold a a good number of squad players that many have slagged off every time they've touched the ball and stated that they should be nowhere near our first team.

I cant say that i wouldn't be happier if some more experienced faces with known quality came in but there are never any guarantees with new signings anyway. If we are left with the likes of Edwards, Winks and Onomah as our cover then fair play, we are simply maintaining our model of cultivating talent from within that the club and manager have been establishing over the last three years. I hope the lads can rise to the occasion, and I'm excited to see which of them has a break out season and becomes the next Tottenham youth product that people sit up and pay attention to.

Will we win the league, probably not, will we play some quality, exciting, edge of your seat football as is the Tottenham way. Yes. Will i be proud of the boys and my club come the end of the season. Definitely.

Still too much in truth and we seem to once again be applying a scattergun approach.

Where is the pace we need? The goal threat? The creative challenger to Eriksen?

Why are the club going from one window to another continually in a surplus position.?

This squad looks thin and not inventive enough for a full throttled assault on more than one front.

I am just baffled at what kind of planning is taking place or what the future template is.

I assume the answer is that the manager and relevant staff know more than you or I.
