Well we saw the huge affect Pau Lopez had on the squad last season...

Ha ha. Cooper, you're so transparent. You're so pompous whenever someone gives you any grief. You think the world of yourself and if anyone questions it you produce essays (not just in open board but over PM as well) about why you're vastly superior, while failing to see that what is actually happening is that you are biting every time someone tries to troll you (not that every attempt is actually a troll, but your sensitivity is such that you bite as if it is) and crying out like a six year old victim. Reminds me of this thread on that army forum where you pitched up and pretty much suggested you knew more about being in the army than anyone else there, even though you've never seen any combat and lorded it over them about how wonderful you were for living in Bermuda and (allegedly) having a high salary. This self aggrandisement has made you unpopular wherever you have gone. But instead of make peace with that and acknowledge that's who you are, you still think the best think to do is this high and mighty act while feeding the trolls every time. Not only does it get you nowhere, but you've had to sink to the same depths as the forum joke Arcspace by having to beg other members for peace treaties.Everyone I annoy, by pricking their ego's calls me bitter.
It's so much easier than accepting that the way you portray yourself might be the problem, rather than me pointing it out to you/them.
To be bitter about something you would have had to have suffered personally - and nothing on here can possibly make any poster suffer personally - unless they are so shallow that the criticism of strangers is an issue to them.
The only time I have allowed myself to become overly bothered by what is said on here was the campaign of insults about my daughter from Brigadoon and Audrey. The rest of the shit I have had levelled at me is laughable junk.
If that comes across as bitterness to you, then I suggest that I have simply "got at" your ego in way that you can't handle.
A good test is to see all the wankers that repetitively disagree with every post - as if it caused you to die a little bit inside, every time they did it.
As opposed to pointing out what a massive tosser they really are.
How is it a differing opinion when I was one of those that suggested Pereira as a possible signing also. Scott and Carlito have literally said what I was criticising. That they don't have, nor feel it is justified, to provide a solution to the problems they moan about.Well, as you well know there are plenty available, not too expensive, been discussed at length over the past 200 pages, yon Ricardo Pereira to name just one.
And in any event, even if all of us lived in some sort of information warp which internet waves bent around, leaving us completely unaware of what was happening in world football, it's not unreasonable to expect that over the past year (remembering that we don't do January windows) our scouts and spotters and so forth might have identified a couple of viable targets from around the globe who might suit us.
Still, far better to portray anyone with a differing or critical narrative to yours as a hysterical bedwetter eh?
So best we sign someone ten times worseWell we saw the huge affect Pau Lopez had on the squad last season...
Look at how he tweets about Dele ... it's Bale coming back isn't it?According to talk on SC, we're expecting to announce a signing on Monday
No, no, That's unfair. Bill, you see, has told us his secret method. How is it a differing opinion when I was one of those suggested Pereira as a possible signing also. Scott and Carlito have literally said what I was criticising. That they don't have, nor feel it is justified, to provide a solution to the problems they moan about.
If you're going to spend days and weeks moaning about lack of signings, provide solutions. Don't moan then when you are asked what you would do and go ''I don't know nor should I''.
As for your second paragraph, the two aren't mutually exclusive.
You bedwetter.
Would this be from the same ITK con artists who said we'd be announcing something big before the Juve friendly?According to talk on SC, we're expecting to announce a signing on Monday

You know what, with all the shit that's been going in this summer, I wouldn't rule it out for a second
Especially when we have the flexibility to play with 3 or 2 AMs and Winks has shown he is able to fit in up there as well when needed.
So did we give out new contracts on the basis we were going to sell players to pay those contracts? I would think that when contracts are negotiated the club has the funds, or will be receiving the funds from TV money etc.
Walker got one of those new contracts and his wages are no longer being paid.
Neither are Bentalebs, Njies or Fazios agreed loan wages
I'm aware.
But there isn't exactly a direct correlation between the two. If I know my amount of winnings will go up next year (E.g. I qualify for the CL, new PL deal) then I'm going to spend more than I have right now, because it's certain money.
To add even more confusion:
We don't know when Bentaleb was sold. This financial year or last?
We don't know the money payments for players like Walker. £50 mil up front or over 5 years?
We don't know the potential profit we can make from Wembley. Is the rent more than the ticket profit? We could potentially double our ticket income, and so Levy may spend £20 mil he doesn't have right now.
New Sponsorship deals with Nike. Do we spend that money now or next year?
I don't really see the point of these numbers. You argue we have £63 million to reinvest, yet if we look above, that number could easily become £160+ million (£63 mil + £50 mil Walker + £16 mil Bentaleb + £6 mil Njie + £5 mil Fazio + £20~ mil from tickets + £30 mil a year from Nike).
Maybe I'm too dumb to get the point of them, but they seem irrelevant. Financial reports leave huge gaps in what we know.
The deal would collapse when Levy couldn't agree how much to pay himself. He would go into a negotiation mobius loop.Lol imagine that. We sign him but end up paying ourselves for him – that's so Levy
Again Jockmur - Winks has shown he is able to fit in up there as well when needed - seriously?
Why so against the idea of signing someone? Most people - including our excellent manager - know we need to strengthen
No. Different person. His work mate's dad is in a job where "he would definitely know", but all he's passed on to his son is that we've even printed the shirts ready but it's all under wraps as to who it is.
Time will tell if that's genuine or not
