Absolutely devastating on the counter attack - we need to rethink our game plan against them

Verts and Poch where on interviewed before the first game of the season and both spoke about the tactics behind the high defensive line. Suggesting that as long as your body position is good and you are switched on... along with support from your keeper then it works. Poch even saying that he would have given them some stick on the cilp that Gary N showed him as they werent high enough!

But i must say the first thing that popped into my mind was ... All that space behind Liverpool will rip us a new one.

I have a lot of respect for Phil Neville, was a decent professional and got awful abuse thrown at him towards his family, however he's knows very little about running a football club. We can either blow all our wad early competing with the big boys, paying a one-off huge salary unsettling the rest of the squad or sit back, wait our turn and try and work on clever deals under the radar. Signing early doesn't guarantee points, sure it would be nice integrating people earlier but it's not always possible. Too many early additions can have an negative impact. Regardless, it is what it is, we are where we are and saying Levy has cost us point is lazy journalism but I expect nothing more coming out of Sky.

*explaining slowly*
No, because the people in the photos have won one trophy, they got lucky by association, right place right time in other words.
Di María's career has lasted 10 years, he's been hugely successful throughout.

See the difference?

I can't believe you seriously thought that the careers of Jeff Schlupp and whoever the other bloke is and Ángel Di María might be comparable and went to the trouble of doing an image search. Proper mental

Thats John O Shea. Heres what he´s won.

I dont rate him. Just like I dont rate Di Maria, and I couldnt give two craps about their honours list.

Rate who you want mate, but chucking winners medals around is a non starter

Tantric Transfers brought to you by Daniel Levy
Previous summers of such practices have brought mixed tantric joy. It could be a joyously exotic VDV release or a Sissoko hand work...
Naby Keita is a great signing by Liverpool - he's going to be a top player

Looks like they are already spending Coutinho money. If Lemar and van Dijk go through for them, with those pace and improved defence, they look really good.

Hope we try to get Lemar, Aurier and Barkley.

Being honest a bit like us ,
Agree. We, Liverpool, Woolwich all the same. It's about how well those cash are re-invested in order to progress. Everton did pretty well with Lukaku money and looks like Liverpool is going about well with Coutinho cash too. IMO Woolwich did really badly by keeping Ozil and Sanchez.

No doubt, but John O'Shea is very much the exception rather than the rule. As general rule, the best players have won shit loads, the less good ones less. This is obviously not the case with very good, very loyal players who played for less successful clubs - Le Tissier, Shearer, Ledley etc, but generally speaking the rule holds good

The funny thing is you didnt watch Di Maria play in any of those seasons he won stuff. You reeled off his wiki honours list and used it as proof that there is something wrong with me because I dont rate him.

But its ok for you to not rate John O Shea.....who has won more.

No, of course I didn't. It wasn't like I was living in Madrid during the four years he was playing here or anything.

I used Wiki to check, as you just did with O'Shea. Oh, and J O'S hasn't won more, ADM has 17 titles including Charity Shield's and the like, J O'S has 15.

What is wrong with you?

John O Shea has a far more prestigious honours list I should have said, and I couldnt care less.

You are a hypocrite. You dont rate O Shea????.....OH MY LORD BUT LOOK AT HIS MEDALS!!!!!!

Here we go - I didn't think it was possible for these cunts to be any vaguer, but now apparently we're all totally in the dark, and our master JJ cannot possibly divulge our real targets as there are "too many eyes about"...

It's painfully fucking obvious half of these ITK's are members of the SC staff, dropping tidbits to keep everyone interested & hopelessly donating money in the hope that it pleases the fucking goat.

It's hilarious watching everyone try to verbally suck him off in the comments.

I didn't recognise O'Shea, as I've admitted. To be honest I neither rate nor not rate him, he's one of those players that doesn't register with me. My point about not winning much was mainly about Jeff Schlupp, I assumed the United player was a similar case.

As I said to AussieYiddo, John O'Shea is very much the exception rather than the rule. I suppose he must have had something to have been with such a successful side so long, but even so, it's undeniably true that top players win lots, lesser players win progressively less and are progressively less successful within the contexts of the clubs they play for. But that's a point you've chosen to completely ignore.

Like the fact that I watched Di Maria most weeks over a four year period, which again you've chosen to overlook. I'm noticing a trend here.

Have you ever admitted you weren't altogether right?

NOT FOR THE RO as too many eyes about...
What if the club is going after players that haven't even been mentioned anywhere on here or the press and don't even have player threads?
Its a shame as no excitement for you but you are not close to who we are after and the names being mentioned aren't in the reckoning apart from potentially SA & RB ....

The Daily ITK Discussion Thread - 26th August 2017

The chosen one AKA the prophet JJetset has spoken and all the minions at Spurs community are literally falling at his feet calling him "kind sir " and praise the lord etc etc god can that site get anymore pathetic ?
