Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Mickey Quinn on talk sport trying to wind everyone up this morning, "Man City was a better result than Spurs" etc etc

That's been the narrative they've been trying to push all day, because nothing says success like a team spending the billions of an oil rich nation that works people to death being more worthy of support than a team with a British spine and some home-grown players beating the current European champions.

Amarite?

Been a proper team though... I think putting primadonna galacticos to the sword poses far more fun... I fancy a crack at Neymar or maybe Lionel's mob.

Especially with the militantly defending, quick breaking Euro-version of Poch's Spurs, i dont think defensively strong / more patient teams like Juve, AM, Sevilla suit us.... We want the attacking, glamour-ball teams.
I'd love to get Barca at some point, I want to see angry , motivated, fuck-these-cunts Poch emerge.

Yeah, but this isn't the Serie A competition is it, it's the CL.
Serie A is pretty shit, shown by the fact that dispite not yet losing in their league they don't have a big gap on their rivals yet. There are a handful of decent teams and the rest are absolute dross.

Anyway, no one is saying Napoli are shit, but suggesting that beating them as Man City, one of the richest clubs in the world who lets face it were favourites in their fixture, is a bigger deal than little old Spurs beating the 2 times reining champions, is nothing but ridiculous.

Yeah I’m playing devils advocate I guess.
Purely form wise he’s making a point to debate.
And it seemed a fair enough comment, Naples is a crazy place to go. They are playing well.

I knew Madrid had lost to a side at the weekend who I only know as an airport not a football team and haven’t heard of before. And the commentators saying Madrid were having a bad start.

It’s obviously not a debatable point!!!

What do y'all think is Poch's plan for the rest of the group stage? Just play the youth or B team and focus on the league?

That's what I'm hoping, since we're already through.

In back 3 yes.

The joke is that he only wanted to play in midfield to get into the England team - and wanted to leave for United because they promised to play him there........in reality England should just play him wherever we are rather than the other way around

Agree.
He is ineffective in midfield. Back 3 but behind Vert, Toby and Sanchez in the picking order.

Bloody hell talksh!te radio. So biased against Spurs, it's like hatred really. I was listening today while driving between 4.30pm to 5.30pm. I don't the know the name of the presenter and I don't want to know.
He said Spurs beating RM will backfire on themselves and as for his explanation, it was pathetic.
He also said Spurs won their season trophy last night.
Unbelievable.

Had a day off. Woke up looking forward to seeeing the recording. I have every game from 15/16, highlights or full, form 15/16 to today recorded and saved.
Couldn’t find it. It’s been deleted to make space, couldn’t even retrieve it.
If ever there wasn’t one I wanted to save for prosperity it was that.
Even missed recording the extend highlights on BT this morning at 12.
Cunt,

You can watch the full game on the BT sport website if that helps

He is compared to Dembele, Winks, Eriksen and Wanyama.

Nah. Still bollocks

Diff players have diff traits and different jobs

- None of them screen the back 4 as well as Dier.
- He breaks play up as well as any of them (inc. Vic imo)
- Is arguably a bigger leader than them all.

Tbh the fact you're comparing to Eriksen just makes you look silly and a little disingenuous.

Essentially you're just bemoaning a lack of creativity and goals; which is a) no worse than Wanyama and b) not his job.
