Lets get this straight, the goal starts by Son just ambling around and bot pressing properly, then Messi given all the time in the world to pick a pass, which he does, beautifully, that Trippier can't physically reach, but his positioning is fine, Lloris has no reason whatsoever to do what he does, because even if the guy receives the ball, which he does, he's on the corner of our box at a 45% fucking angle. It's 5% the fault of poor pressing in midfield and 95% idiocy from that fucking clown Lloris.
It gets better:
As this move develops Trippier is behind Moura, in his correct position, pressing his man, which he does, it is Moura who allows Messi to wander off free, waving a fucking limp arm in Messi's direction rather than actually sticking diligently with him. The rest of your game of consequence is just more biased tripe that ignores the failings and "joggings" of every other player equally culpable, or not.
Fuck me. Show him the line? he hits the ball instantly? What's he supposed to do flail his hands about?
Lloris had time. Why start the clusterfuck by passing to a man, in our own penalty area that is under pressure almost immediately. There were four players in or on the edge of our penalty area, there were no spare players, Lloris as ever doesn't read this and starts the clusterfuck. Trippier has no easy immediate pass option, Sissoko seeing what's happening jogs (I know how you hate a jogger) but still has 4 yards on his marker, (if he'd sprinted he might have had more), he then gets too easily shrugged off it by a bloke half his size who's trying harder for his team.
And by the way, take a good look at what Alderweireld is doing while all this is unfolding. He's pitched himself a deck chair, has downed tools, got his pack lunch out while Messi just stands there in 8 yards of space in the centre of the box. Which is of course, Trippier's fault.
We play with FB's pushed up, if you don't understand the ramifications, Poch's poor tactical application at times, for this and Trippier's inability to defy physics and be in two places at once, especially in a back four system, that's not his fault, it's yours.
I even pointed out to you Walker getting done the same a couple of weeks ago in the Lyon game.
I have also proved to you that factually your theory of Trippier or our right side being "targeted" is utter bollocks. You choose to stick your fingers in your ears, stick your head up your arse and whistle "Trippier's shit".
By all means criticise the bloke, but at least be objective and not just make stuff up, or do the same for everyone.

So Lucas is at fault, Tobys at fault, Lloris is at fault, Sissoko is at fault and fucking Poch is at fault and at one point even Guido is at fault but Trippier is fucking solid. Thats some conspiracy there.

I genuinely have less fear of what damage Skipp would have done to us, than playing Sissoko would. And as far as ruining Skipp, when has this ever actually happened? It would have been a virtual free hit for Skipp, because no-one would expect miracles in a game such as that. But what we would have got was a midfield three with some more tenacity, energy and technique than what we got or would have got with Sissoko in there.
We had already conceded 3 goals before Sissoko was on the pitch.
The question was "how would I have lined up in a CM3, with Sissoko or Skipp?".
Do you not think a little more of a conspiracy that Trippier is being given the blame for every single goal, despite there being 21 other players involved, and four goals. That's a minimum of 84 permutations of clusterfuck, but Guido has Trippier as the lone antichrist.

The two CMs are coming back from a year off - I mean they really shouldn't have been starting at all if the injuries didn't force Poch's hand.
Then there are those who played throughout the summer like Kane and Son. Regarding the latter, he also managed to compete in that Asian games with their ludicrously tight schedule.
I thought they gave it a good go in very tough circumstances against an opponent who are the hardest to defend against in the world.
I mean you just have to look at our bench last night to see how threadbare we were, cut the boys some slack.

READ MY POST AGAIN ABOUT THE FIRST GOAL. I HIGHLIGHTED THAT ***LLORIS WAS AT FAULT*** But as is true without exception, no matter who we play, no matter what the quality of player available at their disposal the oppo target TRIPPER. We have this conversation EVERY SINGLE game and EVERY SINGLE game Tripps plays in it is the ball behind him that utterly fucks us, they either score from it or create from it. So, I said watch Lloris, watch how quick he was to commit to coming out, I suggest that he knows only too well that the oppo is targeting that space, he anticipates the ball behind Tripps. The fact is they did it again, targeted the space behind Tripps. I suggest that Lloris has NO confidence in his RB doing anything about this, which is why I'm offering why he did what he did.
For the 2nd goal Tripps doesn't press his man, he gets beat high up the pitch with a ball played behind him, it's as if he isn't even there, he has to block the ball, make the oppo turn but he doesn't, he gets fucked and the pass is made to Messi and we are now in deep, deep shit, they score. He absolutely has to press effectively if he is that high up the pitch, ANY ball played behind him into his position and we are fucked. Low and behold we got fucked because he didn't put any pressure on the ball, the pass was made and he was now terribly out of position if this is Walker or Rose they both have the athleticism to get back and cover. TRIPPS CAN'T, TRIPPS IS NOW OUT OF THE GAME. I have a pop at him jogging because he's our DEFENDER who makes no attempt to get back, none. As the move played out I don't think he could have affected the outcome but I want and I expect an out of position DEFENDER to make up ground, anticipate that the oppo team could do harm, I expect him to help out his team.
3rd goal: He's a defender he has to defend, that means stopping the oppo cross the ball, so YES, I expect him to show him the line, get closer to him and stand the player up, slow him down, I expect him to at least make the oppo work for their opportunity, he did absolutely fuck all and the ball was crossed with no pressure, no defending, it's all to easy. Our oppo is taking the piss.
4th Goal: Tripps WAS SPARE, there was no one on him, no one near him, any player that can't take that ball and produce a better pass doesn't deserve to be in our team. This is the fundamental problem you are failing to grasp, a good player will take that pass all day, he has time. The player that doesn't have any time is Sissoko, he has Alba literally inside his shorts. When Tripps receives the ball there is no one 15yrds to him. If he can't deal with this he doesn't deserve to play for us.
I'm afraid your lack any credibility in attempting to defend Tripps performance last night, not for the first time. I'm posting the highlights of the goals again to view, not for you but for anyone else you wishes to take a look. Then once viewed, frame by frame tell me I'm a lier. Posting this is totally wasted on you as you are utterly blind to the fact he is the weak link for us. I post negative things about him because I think he's shit. He was utter garbage last night, absolutely fucking useless. Unfortunately, I will be posting about him again, you know I will and that's because the oppo will target him again and again and again. I honestly don't have an issue with any of our fullbacks other than Trips.
There is clearly some form issues relating to Davies (who I thought was OK last night, certainly way better than Tripps, both defensively and in attack, he wasn't great, sensational but OK especially given most of the night he is trying to deal with the 2nd greatest player to have ever played the game). I think Aurier is a good player, always have and his last few performances were a testament to the fact that we have at least an OK RB. I'm also a massive fan of KWP. As with Rose he's not the player he was, whether this is down to injury, attitude or both who knows at least his recent performances were improvements.
I think Rose is gradually improving and Poch should persevere with him
Davies has had stick and I’ve been pretty scathing but I do appreciate that he’s a good lad, fit, committed and ok defensively if he has cover but if not his limitations are exposed
It’s his lack of options when he gets the ball and we’re supposed to be going forward
It almost always goes backwards and the move grinds to a halt
Trippier can cross ok, hit a good free kick or corner(when Eriksen lets him) but defensively he’s poor and, unlike Walker, hasn’t got the pace to rectify any mistakes
We have better options than these two

Can you do an in depth analysis of the goals that cost us the game the last CL game against Inter where your MOTM Aurier doesn’t close down the cross that Icardi scores from and walks off the scorer he was supposed to be marking for the winner. Can I have some YouTube with that too?
