Manager Mauricio Pochettino

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Yes, the supporters are the custodians of the club, it’s our job to hold every person employed at the club to account be it the chairman, manager or player. Its the supporters who safeguard the interests of the club and its traditions. Managers, chairman and players come and go ( most will readily abandon us at the first sign of a better offer )it’s the supporters and the club that are the constant. All of those parties are accountable to us not the other way around. Its staggering just how many fans who have lost sight of that and who readily disregard and denigrate the club’s history and traditions to defend one of those parties.

So what are we doing wrong Hood? Seriously, what are we doing wrong? I’m voting you into the bin on general principle. We’re in the European Cup Final. Short of winning the cunt what do you expect? Fuck’s sake, you’re such a moron. The last two in the most prestigious club competition on the planet and still you bleat on. You’re a cunt.

Your last sentence sums you up beautifully.
I remember a guy who worked in the stores in one of the regiments I was posted to, who was a private in the Pioneer Corps, possibly the most genuinely stupid human being I have ever met. He had an ingrained and stock response to anything he couldn't deal with in his interaction with humans and that was to call them stupid. He didn't have the intelligence to work out that it was actually him that was the problem.
Credit where it's due though, you can use a keyboard, I don't think Chippy Wood ever mastered that.

Great Story Mick - thanks for posting.

Don't mention it Chippy

I think I understand the thought process Hood, and I think there’s a strong core of truth in it. I don’t doubt your support for this club.

Thing is though, in a truly democratic (apolitical) forum like this, when you are in a tiny minority and almost everyone disagrees with you, then a) there is only a very slim chance that you are substantively right and b) whatever you like to think, you’re not going to be holding anyone to account because ‘the club’ will (rightly) ignore your views as being unrepresentative.

In these circumstances, and especially at this exact point in the club’s history, you’d surely get more intellectual and emotional satisfaction from recalibrating your views, and finding joy in celebrating our success - like most of the rest of us wish to do right now.

Otherwise you will find yourself, both literally and electronically, ignored and isolated.

I am an innocent bystander to most of your arguments on here - and am happy to remain so, which is why I hesitate to post this - but, to me, you have strayed from the righteous path of agent provocateur and are lost in the woods of annoying miserable argumentative twatdom. Either that, or you’re a very good troll. Just my view.

Oh please do - It’s quite hilarious , it’s bordering on a cult.

What a situation to be in when you have a group of supporters who point blank refuse to hold the manager of their club to account and spit vitriol at those who actually fulfil the role of a supporter and to just that.

To post lemons would a perfect embodiment of this level of ignorance and stupidity.

Yes let's hold our manager to account. How DARE he get us to the final of the CL despite no transfers in 2 years.

You sir, are not to my taste.

Couldn’t have put it better than the last paragraph myself.

It just seems to me to be illogical that anybody could be so joyless on the eve of the biggest match our club has ever taken part in.

I applaud the fact that other people have diverse, contrary views and like you I hesitate to wade in and be responsible for an argument on the internet. But I do not like to be accused of ‘failing to do my job’, or denigrating the history of our club,

I look to business for an explanation. Some shareholders in a business will crawl all over the accounts, seeking reasons why EBITDA has changed, and so on. Others will simply get on with their lives, enjoying the ride and being delighted when the occasional dividend cheque drops through the letterbox. I don’t say either is right or wrong, but personally, I choose to be the latter.

Sometimes I say this to the wrong person, like Tottenham Massive Tottenham Massive who I have to admit is spurs through and through.

You, however, I have no hesitation in stating that you're not a spurs fan. You're a troll, most likely from Woolwich or Chelsea. Get a life, and go away.

Pretty restrained for you goat. Glad to see those sessions are bearing fruit.

I think the little shit just wants to show his love for me, in fairness, bless him.

It's gone from irritating to amusing now. The bloke is 40, apparently...

I think all you’ll manage to do here is bamboozle him Rutland. Small words/baby steps.

Only because she was so blatant! He can look .... after all, just because you're on a diet, doesn't mean you can't have a look at the menu.
We're all in love with Poch.
The fatties on here aren’t really bothered about Saturday. They’re just desperately concerned the football doesn’t get in the way of all those shite chicken wings in glue they order. This is not the place to describe the contempt I hold them in.

We’re watching on Kilburn High Road with my Sis and BIL and assorted Spurs nutters. Amy Panther included. And Tina naturally Arcwank.
