Match We can be heroes champions league final 01/06/2019

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I didn't want Kane to start. I'm sure many others felt the same. We know by now that he never hits the ground running when he comes back from an injury. Harsh on Moura to bench him.

I also want to add, I'm disappointed in Dele. People will point to the Kane/Lucas debate, but why not Lucas over Dele? I love that man, but he hasn't turned up. He's showed us just how great he can be over the past seasons, but he's lost it a bit. Earn your place. I think some competition for him might just bring out the best in the player we all know he can be. Don't want to berate him or anything, as I truly believe he is THAT good. But he has to do better. I hope this night is a lesson for him and he is the better for it.

My thoughts fwiw:
1. We seemed set up to nullify them and seemed in awe of how they might blow us away in first 20 mins. When his threat never materialised, we didn't react.
2. That penalty was a shocker but (and he's brilliant this season) was sissoko doing raising his arm like that...if you do stupid things in the area then you get penalised.
3. Team played without Kane for 8 weeks and then, without any real match practice, the system is changed to accommodate him and it threw everyone. Kane should have been sub.
4. Kane should stay on his feet. am tired of seeing him fall over/throw himself to the floor...
5. Is anyone REALLY surprised by that performance? This season has been full of wasted halves where the pace and speed hasn't been there...we've also become more pragmatic in Europe and adapted our style somewhat (which clearly worked as we got to a final) but left us lacking against a nervous dipper team who were honestly there for the taking.

Here's to an equally successful season next time: we ALL know that we'd have taken a final and CL qualification for next year at the start of this season so fuck all the melts and COYS!

When the team has just put that performance in its biggest ever game - where the manager simply has to take the blame for a large part you instead choose to focus on me. Says it all
Bashing Poch is very childish, and raises suspicions that you may be a gooner. No money, no home ground, one of the worst seasons for injuries, and yet he still got us top 4, a semi final and the final of the fucking Champions League.
Come on then guru, tell us who should replace Poch. But remember, it has to be someone gettable and willing to come with no transfer kitty, and do better than Poch, which in this case means winning us the Champions League..

2 ) it's now stupid to point because refs cheat

Just a bit of perspective on Alli - he's 23 ffs. We expect more than he was able to give this season, but the guy should be part of our team for the next couple of years at least.

A quick reminder that despite last night and the shit form before it, we've had a cracking season.

Well, the morning after the night before.

What a poor game of football.
It was a penalty.
After we went a goal down they they just sat back and said 'now you score two'.
Beside the defence doing theif job, no-one performed well. Our big players just failed to turn up.
Not played for a month and it showed.
A long rest and back in four weeks for pre-season. I'm getting excited already.
Disappointed but proud.

And hats why he deserves another season, but if he is as poor as this season we need to be thinking of an upgrade.

If he goes back to Dele before last season then yes of course he should be an integral part of this team..
No one has said we should get rid now.. In my opinion next season is a big season for him.
