Transfers Summer 2019 transfer thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

We have indeed.

And it is a bit of a double edged sword. If we targeted mainly young, developable British talent there would definitely be sections of our fanbase that would be angry and claim that we "lack ambition" and that we are not really building a strong side.

The moral of the story is that in the modern transfer market you cannot please everybody. There will always be someone that thinks that it was not enough or that we went for the wrong player etc.
theres a dude a few posts up having a go at the Clarke rumours.

How many of these do you think were positive signings?

1. Davinson Sanchez (£40million)

3. Roberto Soldado (£30million)
4. Erik Lamela (£30million)
5. Heung-Min Son (£30million
6. Lucas Moura (£28.4million)
7. Serge Aurier (£25million)
8. Darren Bent (£24.7million)

Alarming lack of tangible links so far

Again - I reiterate, we will only be able to sign if we sell. Those who think we suddenly have a massive kitty after 5-odd games in the new stadium - beyond delusion. We will be on the lean for years to come, especially before naming rights are secured. Who do you think will service the 1 bn loan - Joe's holiday fund? Newsflash - we won't sign a 80m player this summer

Bentley had so much ability could have gone right to the top. Sadly a bucket of water fucked up his career. Slim margins...

Ranking as per Tottenham's most valuable players according to transfermarkt.

Edit: excludes most expensive signings.

Must say it's been so quiet regarding the players that we want to sell, even including Eriksen & Trippier.

I fear that the sale of the players we want to offload will only materialize at the very end of the transfer window again and we'll again be doing last minute deals.

Just hope Levy does handle Lo Celso and Ndombele differently though and get those two through the doors nice and early, wouldn't mind too much if he does leave the other signings to the end.

Only Son and Moura have been a success bro.
Sissoko has improved but really nothing special.
Sanchez very ordinary with a mistake in him.
The others douchbags .

I wouldn't expect anyone in to at least close to our first pre season game it's just not us to be decisive and quick getting deal's concluded.
