The only reason I can think of for not buying Aarons for £20m is that Poch doesn't want him or they think he should be worth closer to what we paid for Clarke.

I don't agree as I think Aarons is a great fit at a position that is weak this window (and English), but that could be the club's thinking.

Think Poch has decided that Foyth might be our RB for the next five years or so. If I’m not mistaken, he’s been playing in that position for Argentina too.

I think most clubs see him as a (possibly troubled and) talented kid who has done fuck all so far as a professional footballer, would be a huge gamble for Fulham.

How much did they spend last summer on a load of dross? Over 100 mill? I know Edwards has a reputation but I doubt he will be that expensive and he does have the ability to change games and in the Championship he could win them a number of points in their quest to get immediate promotion.

Fulham took a gamble on Mitrovic who had a shocking reputation at Newcastle as a trouble maker and they have grown to love him. I think they are exactly the type of club to take a risk on Marcus

Can't see it, but we won't try it anyway so we will never know.

Geezer is an idiot.

Saliba is a kid that has looked at the utter turbo shit cbs gooners possess and knows full well he will be first choice in no time.

Cebellos wants to play and those desperate scum bags are willing to take him on loan with no option to buy and promise him a certain amount of game time as well. Desperate twats.
The loan of Suarez from La Liga last season went well for them :levylol:

I didn't think Saliva looked all that in that Welcome to Plumstead showreel either, for that reason I couldn't give a gnat's snatch if he signs for them

N'Dombele is probably the signing of the summer. He can do everything, and signed him at a perfect time. Genuinely one of the most exciting midfielders I've watched.

That's fine, but I still think we should buy Aarons if we can get him. Good sell-on value. Also, Foyth would be a #2 this year at RB, I don't trust Aurier to stay healthy and I think KWP is Champo level (prove me wrong KWP!).

Ndombele, Winks, Sissoko, Dier (Wanyama?)

There's still a long way to the pitch if he doesn't even make the bench most match-days, be that Skipp or GKN/Vinny....

Admittedly, formation is everything when considering our CM depth/options.... Time will tell i guess.
I could see Dier being moved back into CB this season if Toby is sold. Hopefully (sadly) Wanyama is moved on, which should leave plenty of space for Skipp
