Tough call
- Will Eriksen sign a new contract, even a one year extension just to preserve value, otherwise we get zero next summer
- Can he still be sold for (say) £50m now (eg to Atletico Madrid), or better still perhaps part exchanged for a player we want
- If we sell him can we get in a recent alternative AM (Fernandes, Olmo etc), so we have more ability to rotate players (ie less tired) rather than our over reliance on a tired Eriksen for the last few seasons.

We've definitely sat on announcements either until Deadline Day itself when it's obviously been done in the days beforehand, or until later in the day on deadline day.
Don't forget that with it shutting at 5pm instead of midnight there is also less time for the social media team to put together pictures/shirt holding/a video.
