Don't get me wrong, I realise that the squad needs refreshing and it looks like we are doing that with 2 or 3 players coming in and others being moved out.

But don't forget that a very high proportion of transfers are failures. You only have to look up the road to see how giddy that lot get over new faces only to be disappointed. Time and again they turn out to be duds.

The most important thing successful football clubs do is hang on to their best players and management. And we've done a pretty good job of that despite the media constantly telling us that Kane, Dele, Poch etc. would all be off.

Sky needs supporters to be fully invested in the transfer window - it keep their subscriptions and betting revenue rolling in. Don't believe the hype.

what is it with you going on about the longest bar all the time? you a secret bar maid or something? also you forget the worlds longest bar is in the best stadium in the whole of Europe....... :dembelefingers:
 
I doubt Levy would be wasting all of his time today on Dybala if:

a) he didn't think he could get it done, and
b) we had a viable alternative

So either all reports were completely bullshit (unlikely) or the image rights torpedoed the whole thing and we probably aren't signing BF or anyone else instead of Dybala.
