Why would we do that?
If backup striker was a priority we would have re-signed Llorente. Part of the challenge last year was that our complete lack of midfield gutted our AM options. Eriksen and Dele were deep all the time, so we didn't have nearly as many strike options up front. It's very different now. It's not Llorente the player who is the actual loss, it's the fact that he was the only actual backup striker last year and his involvement was crucial in our CL run
wonder if the £6m picked up by a Spurs fan on twitter was a right to buy.
Or even a late change of mind by Spurs to keep CCV (and Tanganga) available through to next summer, as both Jan and Toby might be off then, or might not. Keeping all the options open
That is a big indicator to me of how many of our fans are getting more concerned with the finance side rather than the playing side. Similar to many more supportive of levy than the players & manager. Better to lose 1 of our best players asap just so we can get more £££. Which we are usually stubborn at spending anyway.
Which EPL teams had a better window?
As an ambitious club, fuck no.
I just disagree with the clubs' priorities in this question, I know the reasoning behind it, I just disagree. If backup striker was a priority we would have re-signed Llorente. I know that's a joke, but I think we'd all rather cut off our own cocks.
If Eriksen signs a new deal I won't eat my hat because I don't wear one and that's gross but I will be very surprised.I think eriksen will sign a new deal honestly. Toby is another story but I trust in Poch to make Davinson a proper replacement
Don't care about other teams.

If the club belonged to the supporters like most are I could certainly understand that view. Now the Club is owned by a company that knows what they are doingThat is a big indicator to me of how many of our fans are getting more concerned with the finance side rather than the playing side.
