So what, it signaled the fact you’re not worth debating with.

Flat earthers have now started the “manager doesn’t matter” movement.
Forgetting that means we can happily sack Poch then...

:pochfacepalm:
You're on here quoting 'Spurs ITK' Twitter Pages claiming our manager is in crisis meetings with Levy, egging them on hoping they come true.
And I'm the one not worth debating with

Have you gone through the squads I gave you and worked out which one of our rivals bar City has five players vastly superior to ours yet?

That’s right....because bar City, we have the best squad in the top 6.

If we didn’t you would simply systematically prove me wrong. But you can’t.

Because you know full well Jan is better than Maguire and Son is better than Origi.

Robertson would be garbage under Poch, just like Danny Rose is now, and you know it.
You know, deep down, the man primarily responsible for the crisis unfolding now is the man who, last summer not only failed to back our most promising manager in a generation but actually humiliated him with fuck all at a crucial time in the teams progress.
Confidence, morale, belief, trust, players contracts and results have been on a downward spiral ever since.
Deep down, you know its the truth.
You can continue to fool yourself and half the members of the fighting cock, but you aint fooling me

How interesting regarding the Utd semi, and your views on Pochs attitude to the cups.

Oh please..He stood like a statue as the first went past him (again)
and the second went straight underneath his body.
Shocking performance that was criticised by all and sundry on here in the match thread.
Poch dropping Hugo for Vorm in a semi final v United was a clear indication of our attitude towards the FA cup
That loss was not Vorm’s fault.
It’s not as if Poch filled the team with kids and reserves, he played a strong side and clearly wanted to win. How pissed off and upset he was in the post-match interview showed that. It’s ridiculous to claim that he didn’t care about the outcome of that game.
Why do you think he dropped ever present Hugo Lloris for weekly bench warmer Vorm. In what many Spurs fans considered our biggest domestic game of the season? What's your theory?

So there we have it. Conclusive evidence that John Thomas feels that Poch is responsible for the lack of silverware.

Nothing more to add. You’re own quotes have bitten off your own bollocks. Self ended....bravo though I’m surprised you had it in you to admit no cups is on Poch.

But there it is.

I see the art of debate is still a few years away on this place.

Personally, I think everyone needs to leave, Levy, Poch, most of the players and a lot of fans.

Thanks for showing once again how open minded and fair I really am.

As you rightly point out, I'll criticise Poch where I think it's due.
I've criticised him on many more occassions than I care to remember. No manager is perfect or can please every supporter all of the time.

However, as you know, but refuse to admit, the root cause of our current plight is not bad coaching or tactical naivity, its far, far deeper than that.

The underlying cause is a bunch of owners who only care about profit and a chairman who persistently failed to back his manager.

You know it. I know it. And thanks for backing up my point

You accused the manager of purposely throwing the semi due to his attitude towards what “most fans call our biggest domestic game”

You may be open minded and that’s great.

But you have been caught admitting that the lack of silverware was not due to the squad but because Poch dropped “ever present Lloris for benchwarmer Vorm” and have slated Vorm on the Utd goals.

Not on Levy then.

So all your finger pointing has been unraveled and these posts prove that you think the squad could have won trophies but the manager fucked up, not the board.

That’s great John....I’m glad you are so open minded that I could dig them posts up.

Levy out and Poch out threads should be merged.

I blame both for where we are.

Levy doesn't want to spend and everyone knows that and we fans accept it out of no choice. we are a big club, but the chairman is acting like a wheeler dealer not like a corporate. Soon no one wants to deal with Spurs if Levy carries on with his antics.

Poch was at Southampton so knows very well how Levy runs the club and if he didn't like it he shouldn't have taken the job or even signed a new 5 year contract. Levy won't change for anyone. I was surprised Poch was expecting huge budget last summer and shocked to expect an overhaul in the next two windows. Dream on Poch.

IMO divorce is the best option.

Liverpool backed Klopp when he needed to be backed, and didn't let the team go stale and stagnate before doing so. Don't even try and compare their recruitment strategy and how Klopp has been helped in the market to Pochettino.
They sold his star player to do it. Klopp took them to the CL final on a net spend of 700k.
As I've said, their policy is remarkably similar to ours. Our net over Klopps period at Anfield is higher.

They've just been better at it than we have. That's on Hitchen, McDermott, Pochettino and Levy. Not just one of them

No just Poch will do

Whilst this has now become inevitable, you have to ask why the best manager we've had since at least the 80's has suddenly become so bad at doing what he had done so well.
It's like he doesn't want to do what he's good at anymore. It makes you think "what is it that has caused this"

I mean, it could be anything eh.

Sorry but how is their policy 'similar' to ours? We have a wage bill of 148m they have a wage bill of 264m

That's 115m more every season.....so in the 5 or so years theyve been here thats just over half a billion more spent on players

Their policy was similar to ours around the 15/16 season mark. They signed mainly cheap/young players in the hope they would potentially prove useful. They then woke up to the fact they had stumbled on a top manager who they knew could take them places, so changed their policy with regard to transfer fees and wages they were willing to pay.

We on the other hand, did not.

Why do people have this idea that weve spent similar to them? In 15/16 our wage bill was 100m theirs was 208m ...........They have outspent us every year for yonks.......

But you threw the rotten fruit at Poch for the Utd semi.
Of course I did.
Just like I'm throwing the rotten fruit at Levy/ENIC for setting in motion the absolute shitshow that's been unfolding since last january.

While you want to blame Poch for today, yesterday, 1 league cup in 2 decades, players running down their contracts, Hugos elbow, Boris Jonson, Brexit and the fucking weather.

Your point?

No I blame Poch for his decisions that have cost us silverware.

Just like you do.
