I think Fat Sam would get more from this squad on an interim basis.

Jan has always been open about the possibility of signing a new contract, I think the problem lies in him wanting at least 2 years but the club only offered one. They gave Sissoko a new 4 year deal and he's only 2 years younger so I don't see why they can't offer Jan two years.
I think Eriksen will definitely leave, but we'll be stuck with him until the end of the season.
Toby I really don't know about. There was serious talk about Roma over the summer, but it never came together. I don't know if he's interested in a new deal or if he definitely wants out.
I read yesterday that Jan has dodgy ankles and they are affecting his mobility.

This belief that only you can see "things" that are (just as)obvious to everyone. But the difference is - that whilst us grown ups see it too, we don't see every performance as the harbinger of doom and despair like you do. You have been forecasting pestilance, plague and death for years - so now the team is in the shit - you are in your element and the "told you so" mentality makes you more vomitworthy than ever.
You must be revelling in all of this, you and the other Private Frazers who cry "We're doomed" every time we don't thrash every team we play, or someone has an off colour game.
I haven't pretended anything - I just don't choose to up my post count a thousand fold, boring the tits off everyone about just how shit the club, the manager and the players are. My only concession being to keep my anger, feelings and frustration to myself, and to keep the faith that the club, manager and management will find a way to pull us through.
