“It depends. Different faces during the game. I thought we played well. Of course when we scored so early the team tried to defend and we missed a bit to play, a little too much with the ball. In the first half it was difficult to connect and play and try to go forward and dominate the game how we planned. Of course when we scored so early it was like we need to defend, defend, defend.”

“We played well but when we scored early the team tried to defend. I think the first half was difficult to connect and play. The second half the game was under control more and we started creating chances. When you don’t score you know the crowd are going to push the team on here at Anfield.”

No difference between them right now

8pts behind Chelsea in 4th who have a transfer ban, one of the best CMs in Europe out injured, a team full of academy kids, just sold Hazard and have Frank Lampard as manager.

Lampard inexperienced yes but his team are playing for him

Ours aren’t playing for their manager

Well most anyway

Poch has a new buzzword, replace 'philosophy' with 'dynamic'. Apart from that, no change.

If he doesn’t want the team to sit back and defend why doesn’t he tell the team TO NOT SIT FUCKING BACK AND DEFEND?

  1. We've won 2 of our past 9 games.
  2. No consistent lineups.
  3. No tactics or plan
  4. Almost the entire team is out of form
  5. Players who aren't committed are waltzing into the team every week. Eriksen should never wear our shirt again.
  6. The same mistakes being made week in week out
  7. No plan B, doesn't know how to use subs, in game management is useless.
  8. Plan A, which was publically stated to be Foyth and KWP as RB, isn't happening. Aurier is a disaster yet keeps getting played.
  9. Constantly going back on himself. "We will buy/sell in Jan" "No, we won't change anything in Jan"
  10. Habitually taking the lead only to crumble in game after game.
  11. Players hit peak form only to be dropped the very next game, such as Ndombele today, Lucas in the CL final.
  12. Players barely seem arsed half the time
  13. The same old excuses every press conference. "I am happy, I am proud, we controlled the game, can't blame the players, this is football".
  14. He's a fitness snob. He won't play Foyth because he isn't fit, yet Foyth plays for Argentina. Same for Celso. He doesn't play people and claims "Oh, they're not fit yet" when half the team looks dead on their feet. It makes no sense. We need players fit for games, not fit for running marathons or training sessions.
I hope the man resigns so that we can finally move on and see some sensible starting 11's. Who the fuck expects a really difficult and challenging game and picks Dele and Eriksen over Lamela? Rose, who can't defend, over Davies? Winks over an incredible talent finding form in Ndombele? I'm honestly so done with this season and this manager.

Lamela wasn't available today (thigh) so no point in complaining about not starting him, but I agree that Davies and Ndombele should've started.

Yeah those cheeky medical guys are always switching folders for a laugh. Fair enough, I think Eric is in the inner circle so probably would have started. And sent off. For an asymmetric parting in his hair

Their one and only argument is " well who is our there that we could get "
I just don't want Mourinho because I have a feeling that he'd misuse Ndombele and lo Celso in the same way that he misused Pogba. You have to let players like that have a bit of freedom, whereas he'd probably try to play them as holding midfielders. Literally anyone else though. Having said that, results count for more than anything else.
