Why are you so sure? We lost to Brighton and drew at home to Watford very recently. What makes you think we will win the next four? We certainly won’t if he picks the wrong team and refuses to change things if it is not working out until 75 mins like he usually does
Top 4 is too big of an expectation?Ding ding ding.
The problem was Poch has raised the expectations beyond our imagination. And just at the moment where he should get the benefit of the doubt and consistent backing to fix it, oh we should get rid. Fans can be as disloyal as anyone. If he spends a lot next summer and things are not improving, then give him the chop.
I’ve said several times every week he doesn’t sack Poch a massive amount of blame goes to levy.Although tbf mate, if relegation happened with or without Poch you and others would still be backing Levy
Yes, you say it every week. But at what point does it become reality.I’ve said several times every week he doesn’t sack Poch a massive amount of blame goes to levy.
So no, not at all
I have absolutely no idea what you're on about.
pussyI have absolutely no idea what you're on about.
Don't bother replying muppet, I've put you on ignore with the other cretins like Ahab Mindblown and Hood
West ham away is another potential game we will lose they will want it more than we do mind you nearly everyone in the league at the moment would like to face us, became we carry very little threat and are easy to beat it's a sad indictment but true. The next three fixtures I'd be concerned about if we were going well. Everton is one that maybe should work out. Our 2-6 win there last season just before Christmas is probably the last league match we really fired properly in. We won 0-3 there the season before that and Pochettino hasn't lost in any of his 10 league meetings against Everton. They're possibly the one club in the league at the moment which can match us in the utter shambles stakes and their manager is even closer to getting sacked than Pochettino. They did beat the Spammers in their last home game and bad an all as they've been, have won 3 of their 5 home games. If we lose at Everton, the writing is all over the wall.
Sheffield United at home is no gimme. They drew at Stamford Bridge, beat Woolwich at home last week, were very unlucky to lose 0-1 to the Bin Dippers courtesy of a goalkeeping error and got a good point at the Spammers at the weekend. They're a unified, well organised team that give it their all.
The Spammers away then. That's the fixture that fills me with the most dread every season. The two seasons we were going for the title 2015/16 & 2016/17 defeats there effectively ended our title challenge, when a win in either season would have catapulted us into real contention. Its hard to suddenly feel things are going to be different there and we'll get something when we're playing as awfully as we are.
Yes, you say it every week. But at what point does it become reality.
At what point will you say Levy needs to go because of his dogged determination to keep a manager you feel is dragging this team to destruction?
There is only one man responsible for Poch's continued employment.
When does your anger and venom switch to him?
I think I'm getting it.It’s a reality every week.
He wasn’t sacked this week.
So getting fucked by Everton will also be on Levy.
The reality is now.....Levy is already to blame for this for keeping Poch in charge of the football.
Your absolute nonsensical argument sounds
like this John:
Me: I blame Levy for a massive part of our plight every week he keeps Poch.
You: Levy is keeping Poch. When will you blame him?
Fucking read the post. I am already blaming him.......but you won’t find one post where I’ve abused Poch, so if you think I should now be abusing Levy, I’m afraid you’re barking up the wrong tree.
Allegri is not realistic Benitez is, Benitez got hammered by many Liverpool fans at times for his brand of football, I also can't see him working well with Levy. Rodgers is not a step up in my view or on Poch's level. At least with Benetiz he's won the CL so he knows how to win.
Yes. We're going over old ground but the decision to select Kane for the European Cup Final was the end. I lost all faith in Pochettino after that. It wasn't even a gamble, it was a decision that was doomed to failure. Said it before that final, it was madness, Kane was always the type of player who needs a run of games under his belt to find form. We see it every time he comes back from injury or that old stat that was around for years, that he never scores in August. Certain players can hit the ground running, the minute they comeback from injury. Harry is not one of those. Seven weeks out and he's expected to hit the ground running against a beast like Van Dyjk. We had all the momentum going into that final, name on the Cup sort of run to get there, Bin Dippers on a downer after not winning the league with 97 points and we toss it all away with a selection blunder of that magnitude. Giving away a penalty inside a minute merely confirmed it.
I did have my doubts over the years after what transpired in a lot of big matches - selecting Vorm for the 2018 FA Cup semi final against Man U, selecting Son as a full back/wing back for Cup semi against Chelsea in 2017.
There's merit in all the comments about our net spend, the resources of our better funded big rivals, but sometimes you just got to focus on what you have, grab the bull by the horns and get it done. Leicester City managed to win a league and with the players we had, a back five of Hugo, Walker, Rose, Toby & Jan that for two seasons conceded fewest goals in the league & Dembele, Eriksen, Son, Dele & Harry in his pomp, we should have won plenty of trophies. I'm pretty sure a hard nosed elite manager like an Ancelotti, Conte, Mourinho or Simeone would have delivered. Pochettino is nowhere near that sort of company.
We're a rabble now. If Pochettino is left there much longer, its not an elite end manager we'll be looking for, it'll be Big Sam to keep us up.
I think I'm getting it.
If Levy won't sack Poch, you want him out and replaced with a new chairman or CEO that will.
Is that right?
It depends on the damage he allows Poch to cause to save 30M
Missing top 4 won’t make me want new owners.
It wouldnt even be a sole reason for me to want Poch out. There are tens and tens of reasons that have amounted to why I want Poch out.
Mid table I would feel was a disaster, but I’d want to see what the new project was under a new management team.
Mid table or below, winning fuck all and keeping Poch, I’d be looking at new owners
Well documented as being the best way of dealing with masculine toxicity. Still can't help playing with her hair at the mention of Sammy's name though.
And won’t it be funny when all the people celebrating new owners, but lauding Poch, have to sit there and watch as he’s fired on day one.If Levy allows us to get into a situation where, at the end of the season, we’re hovering around the foot of the table and Poch is still in charge, I think it’s safe to assume he’s looking at new owners too.
Fair play.It depends on the damage he allows Poch to cause to save 30M
