Management Poch sacked

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

If you can't see a very real risk that that isn't true, I'm not sure what football club you're looking at.

At the very least, unprecedented investment in the transfer market is now a non-negotiable part of that future coming to fruition, something that was not the case two years ago.
What risk? relegation? that applies to every EPL club, you think that's a serious risk? I know what football club I'm looking at as should you if you review our accounts ... this is not guesswork it's an easily understood business plan, our forward projections don't even account for European football in the numbers, they are an 'opportunity' not a given. Do you understand any of that?

Levy won't change the business model, that includes the transfer budget, do you know what that model even is? or are you simply writing your emotional response not a factual one? One of the clashes between DL and Poch was over the new five-year-plan they just didn't agree, that was supposedly sorted last week but then Poch backed out, any incoming manager will have to live with what DL says, that's always been part of the job and always will be.

I joked to the bloke standing (ssshh, don't tell anyone) next to me at the Watford game that I'd have to settle for 16th in the league and win the CL.
That became increasingly less of a joke as the weeks went on after every Red Star came a Sheffield etc...
Now if we get Mourinho perhaps I'll have to change that to 8th and an FA Cup. Does that feel better? No.
Ominous as well Dele's tweet tonight thanking Poch and saying they'll hopefully meet again.
I don't think he meant for a 2 for 1 at Pizza Express Woking.
Wonder how many of a divided dressing room will rock up at Poch's new place when he's ahem at the wheel? 😢
I can think of a few he can have on a free ....

I'm very conflicted about whether this is the right call. My heart is very sad to see Poch leave but I get the rationale too.

Just want to say for now: thanks Poch. You've given us Spurs fans some great moments. You will ALWAYS be welcome at the Lane. Top man.

Bigger and better things ? - fuck off Ben Davies if he thinks that sort of comment is helpful in this situation then god help him managing the rest of his life without a ball at his feet.

Last thing this situation needs is petrol on the flames with ill thought out comments that AGAIN suggest Spurs should be thankful for Poch, It’s the other way around. And always was. We were bigger before Poch arrived And there will be life after Poch too. Sad as this night has been.

he's turned at 100m business into a 2 billion business, that's his job
Disingenuous argument here my man. Every PL club has risen in value similarly over that period. That's not because of Levy that is a PL thing. That's not to knock his business acumen, such as it is. Compare the bankrupt Liverpool to their situation now under the Americans. Whose done better? yes, Levy's built a stadium but Pool's put that money into their team and without all the advantages of London. I bet they would have similar selling prices.

A forward projection that our revenue will continue to grow exponentially without European football is absolutely dreaming. If ENIC are that deluded god help us.
Again you show your total lack of understanding on what the business model is ... go and look at revenue streams and then try again ... having a business model that is based on finishing above City, Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea and Woolwich as a part of the basic plan? That would be stupidity indeed .... you build a plan around what you believe will be realistically achieved not what you dream about ....

Plenty of bankrupt clubs say hi .....

I don't think he wanted to put us in a bad light, but his choice of words was really unfortunate.
