Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Literally one of the worst performances in living memory for me, and I'm sure we all remember the mid 90's. At least then there was desire. Was it the Xmas do the night before or something? Second to every ball. Beaten in the air time and time again. Shit from start to finish. Awful.

And yet he created our best chance to score from. Compare that to Wanyama, Winks and Dier, who do fuck all and almost never involved in creating anything and in the case of Winks a big liablity defensively.

Like I said one good run over 90 minutes does not excuse his shit work ethic him being scared of the ball inability to shoot pass or tackle

He's a backup winger at the beast for me like I said not a starting CM for a top 10 club never mind supposed top 4

We are finished as a force in English football, Kane should put in a transfer request tonight.

But after that performance today who’d want him?

Two good chances both missed
Yes it was a good challenge for the second chance but he delayed shooting for a vital moment and the first miss was abysmal

Difficult to take anything constructive from that shitshow but Sanchez had a decent game and was our best player by a mile and Tanguay did well when he came on but is he fit enough to start?

José has to stop persevering with Dier, CE and Aurier
I’d sooner have Sanchez in midfield than Dier
Moura and Dele were both very poor as was Son

Thoroughly pissed off 😡

We lost to Utd and Chelsea - both ex-Mourinho-teams with a point to prove. They raised their games, we played too tactically, thinking to play on the counter, expecting them to be wobbly, seeing them come from a poor run.

And for all the melters, I’m assuming you missed the good football Chelsea played earlier in the season and the money they’ve spent in the past: they’re a good team (just full of wankers).

We don’t have any right to win these games, but it’s just head not in the right place - maybe training / lack of - whatever.

Real winning mentality it ruthless - which certain players were not.

It will come.
We played too tactically???? Whatttt??? That's exactly what we havent done in those games.

Mou wont go on record saying 1/2 of the squad ain't good enough when he's trying to be a nice guy. I have no doubt Levy and him know work needs to be done and money spent.

If we don't get a RB and LB and CDM in at least in Jan kiss top 4 goodbye imo

I agree with you about Jose but I’m not sure about Levy. I will wait to see what happens in January (my guess is fuck all) and then next summer.

This would not be 'bollocks on the table' at all. Doing this + what we did in the summer would have been the MINIMUM required for me to have considered the 'painful rebuild' a success this past summer. And even that would have been only the first phase of a multi-window rebuild. But sacking Poch appeased most.

Yet here we are, two of the most abject performances in recent memory. And even the performances in our good results weren't what we would want to see every week.

I agree but I'd take what I can get. And Poch needed to go he obviously had given up himself and didn't have the heart to do the rebuild. I just hope they have brought Jose in to do what needs to be done and be ruthless not to keep flogging a dead horse that is this squad

Big 6 rivals? We are barely a top 10 club at the moment
To be fair, I don't exactly see Utd as top six rivals either. The key narrative of this season so far is the implosion of the hegemonic big six.

The end of last season actually foreshadowed exactly this scenario but most people, myself included, couldn't see it continuing into a new season.

Thing is, Chelsea weren't even that good. We played with no midfield for most of the match, our keeper gifted them a comedy penalty out of nothing, and Son got himself sent off, Kane played like he was auditioning as the slow zombie in the walking dead. As shit as we were they weren't much better.

Too many of these performances this season, might be time to write this season off and hope for some decent transfer activity in Jan and the Summer.

If you take Levys interview at face value from this week then we shouldn't expect anything.

Key points from that interview were "If we were guaranteed top four every season it would be boring" and "The obsession with spending money in England needs to stop, it doesn't happen overseas."

Both of those things speak volumes to me.

Them:
First to the ball all afternoon, stronger in the tackle, a better press, technically better on the ball, enthusiastic, willing to run for a colleague (and they had Pulisic and Jorghino on the bench)

Us:
Rose our 'impact sub'!
Dele's brother's back.
Dier and Sissoko ambling about somewhere between Kane and Gazzaniga.
Son - stupid - a definite red (and was he on the pitch before the Rudiger incident)
Gazzaniga - why not just catch it? Or was he doing the goalkeeper thing where they'll try and maim the attacker under the guise of going for the ball studs up (and get protected by the ref?)
Lucas - was he on the pitch?
Vertonghen - he's not a left back. Mount had him on toast all afternoon.
Aurier - words fail me
Mourinho - do him and Pochettino see something that us fans don't? Why Dier and Sissoko?

Potential PL sanctions for the missile water bottle and racist remarks.

Utterly depressed and wonder where we go from here. More of the same on Boxing Day?

We've had better days.
