Explain to me how he was being developed "properly"?

If not playing first team football is being developed then why send him back, and if Leeds cooled on him as you say then we should have brought him back to train with better players.

Common sense for anyone to see.

Read again.

I said Bielsa was trusted by Poch to develop him.

Obv. he wasn't playing enough, so we're bringing him back.... Loans just play out that way sometimes.

No-one need lose their job.... That's just silly talk.

Physically Cavani looks like someone who's got a couple of good years left. But if he's got other suitors there's a big chance they'll offer him more than us
He has been linked with Atleti (who are packing on quite a collection of strikers, Morata and Costa are there already). So that might depend on outgoings.

If we want a younger player who could do what Llorente did I'd go for Sebastian Andersson. 28 years old. 6 months left on his deal with Union Berlin and has scored 8 times in the Bundesliga this season and is like the leading player in headers scored.

calm and collected guy as well and would not cost a fortune.

No, not in the least.
We have a fucking shambolic scouting network. There has to be a sea of talented, experienced players across Europe in the 22-25 age bracket that could come in and improve our team.
We seem utterly incapable of locating them.
It could also be that we manage to identify the players, but rather than acting swiftly to get the deal done in a satisfactory manner that suits all parties, we fanny around trying to squeeze every last dime out of the deal in our favour, pissing off the player and selling club in the process.

Yep - could be. Probably a bit of both. If we had a good scouting network, we would be identifying players at clubs that might be more open to Levy's shenanigans.

Director of Football would be good in that regard.

Another move to fill the Kane void that could become reality I guess is a loan for Luka Jovic. Lacking in minutes over at Real big time so he must be chomping to play.

He is able to play on the flanks as well so we could shift him and Son or Moura as the striker and play Luka on the wing.

A 6 month loan with an option to buy doesn't sound impossible.

Yet it doesn't seem so long ago we pulled a blinder by signing VDV before most of the footballing world knew he was available.
What i would give for another one like that.

If you want a right-back who is even more error-prone than Aurier, Meunier is the guy for you. I wouldn't like him here, he would cause more headaches than Tripps and Aurier combined...

Whilst I haven't watched thousands of minutes of him he's always looked good to me. Gets forward well and has good end product, isn't the quickest but he's got height and strength to make up for it.

He was the one keeping Aurier out of PSG also so he must be better then him

Don't know if that is flashy enough for Mourinho. He might need Rose to google him for him.

If we need a beast of a forward, Duvan Zapata from Atalanta would be our guy. But he would probably cost more than Levy would ever consider
