Kane out for a undetermined time period.
Do we sign a striker (Cavani has 6 months left for example) or do we go for a winger and push Son or Moura up front with Troy on the bench?
The big issue is that Paco is rather injury prone. 9 injuries since joining Dortmund, 7 of those muscular or strains.I'd take him. He's a completely different striker to Llorente, but he offers the same thing and at this time we need him. Now that Håland is there, I suppose negotiations can be easier as well.
If we could get Cavani then the decision has nothing to do with Kane being injured, just do it.Kane out for a undetermined time period.

If you want a right-back who is even more error-prone than Aurier, Meunier is the guy for you. I wouldn't like him here, he would cause more headaches than Tripps and Aurier combined...Keep saying it Aaron's next window Meunier this window, who can also play LB and CB
Explain to me how he was being developed "properly"?
If not playing first team football is being developed then why send him back, and if Leeds cooled on him as you say then we should have brought him back to train with better players.
Common sense for anyone to see.
He has been linked with Atleti (who are packing on quite a collection of strikers, Morata and Costa are there already). So that might depend on outgoings.Physically Cavani looks like someone who's got a couple of good years left. But if he's got other suitors there's a big chance they'll offer him more than us
It could also be that we manage to identify the players, but rather than acting swiftly to get the deal done in a satisfactory manner that suits all parties, we fanny around trying to squeeze every last dime out of the deal in our favour, pissing off the player and selling club in the process. No, not in the least.
We have a fucking shambolic scouting network. There has to be a sea of talented, experienced players across Europe in the 22-25 age bracket that could come in and improve our team.
We seem utterly incapable of locating them.

Yet it doesn't seem so long ago we pulled a blinder by signing VDV before most of the footballing world knew he was available. It could also be that we manage to identify the players, but rather than acting swiftly to get the deal done in a satisfactory manner that suits all parties, we fanny around trying to squeeze every last dime out of the deal in our favour, pissing off the player and selling club in the process.
Scouting brief has been leaked:Spot on. A lot of the blame when it comes to our past transfers is put on Poch and Levy (who have their share of the blame nonetheless), yet our diabolical scouting network barely gets a mention.
Scouting brief has been leaked:
- Bench Warmer for PSG
- Bought with a lot of hype but not quite good enough
- Poor footballing brain

Only if it's the Mail.

If we want a younger player who could do what Llorente did I'd go for Sebastian Andersson. 28 years old. 6 months left on his deal with Union Berlin and has scored 8 times in the Bundesliga this season and is like the leading player in headers scored.
calm and collected guy as well and would not cost a fortune.
