Are Inter insane?

They are actually negotiating for a long term out of form player who leaves on a free in six months with almost zero chance of getting an injury in that time.

Perhaps Conte has not bothered to check any of our games since he departed England.

Tottenham's sights may be set too high. Big name players like Edinson Cavani and Krystofz Piatek come with big fees and high wage demands.

One player who is attainable is Hull's Jarrod Bowen.

The Chronicle reported last month that Tottenham were set to challenge Newcastle for the versatile attacker.

Bowen has a prolific record. He has 16 goals and six assists already for Hull this season.

Last season he struck 22 goals, and 14 the year before that,

It's a really strong record for a player who just turned 23 last month.

Bowen is the type of player Tottenham need to take a chance on. He would jump at the chance to join them.

The attraction of an Edinson Cavani is obvious, he's played at a higher level and has more pedigree. But it's an extremely difficult deal to do due to his wages, and competition for his signature.

Cranston Cranston

Not forgetting that Poch was appointed manager 12 months after starting at Spurs with responsibility for recruitment.

So who has screwed up recruitment over the last 5 years or so - over 20 players arrived but few are first team contenders.

And don't talk to anyone who follows youth (whether WindyCOYS WindyCOYS or anyone else) about Poch (non) development of academy players
Wonderful, wonderful coach (best in my lifetime by miles) and man but he was quite a poor 'manager' (wish he'd never changed role).

I guess they know that in six months' time, they won't get him. He'll get shit loads off somewhere like PSG.

But, yes, agree.

Although if Inter are insane, Levy is even more bat shit stupid to turn anything down.

You son of a bitch. I'm in.

Well the concern from Inter's point of view is that when he becomes free in 6 months, there may be other clubs in for him that he wants to go to more than Inter. They also have a shot at winning Serie A this year and they may think Eriksen will help that.

This eriksen saga is set to run until the last day when we finally accept an extra two quid for him only to find that we have left it too late to bring in a replacement #obviousoutcome.

“What stadium do the Spurs play in?”

“Google Stadium”

“Well, ok, but I’m not sure why you couldn’t just tell me instead...”

To add some context, this was spotted in the london office of Google.

Now if you think I’m going to get excited about a plastic mini stadium sitting in an office then you’re absolutely right.

Imo we need both an extra AM and a back up striker.

AM's (after Eriksen leaves) - Son, Moura, Lamela, Dele, Lo Celso (4 for 3 places in a 4231)
Strikers - Kane (injured)

Not enough AM's to rotate if we play 4231.

So I'd get Bowen in as AM cover and give us time for the rest of the season to bed him in - and gives more flexibility if Kane is out for the rest of the season as he's a winger striker with rye for a goal..

And HG so no problem to get into the squad
