It’s a decent result on the face of it, but having been so close to an excellent away win it’s a bit disappointing also.
Hopefully the replay will be live on TV in the UK.
 
Second half was crying out for Ndombele, we totally lost control of the midfield - Dier is not the fucking answer anymore, to anything.

Son, goal aside was horrible, as was Moura - WE NEED A STRIKER.
 
Good match & fair result. Still in it! & what a star in the making we have in GLC. The option to buy will surely be taken up.
Interesting idea to give both clubs the option of no replay. If both agree then it goes to ET & then pens. Would suit a lot of games involving 2 premiership teams. Replays make sense for lower league teams though.
 
We defended well until the goal. Couple of bloopers by Sanchez but Hugo had no saves again.
Unstoppable goal but dumb decisions led to it.

Winks is decent but he doesn't get hold of a game. I don't think the young and inexperienced line works any more, he has to show more leadership.
 
This game was a stepping stone in our transition/development under JM.

Loads of positives from the way we played today.

Solid defensive foundation being built.

Forwards have to step up and do their job.
 
That was a frustrating watch. Couldn’t keep hold of the ball and maintain any semblance of possession, and we put ourselves under pressure every time we tried to play out from the back and got caught on the wings. Still in it, I suppose.
