I would be surprised, if we hadn't promised him something. This is third time he's out of the match squad. He's gonna look a massive dick with the fans, if he doesn't get a transfer.

Both very decent, young too (23 and 22). The former has the best stats for any midfielder in Spain, or so I read the other day, the other is starting to make a name for himself in the Spanish national team. He's more a left winger/mediapunta type I think tho, so the same position as Bergwijn I imagine.

Definitely worth keeping an eye on Mikel Merino though.

They both play tonight, I'll probably half-watch it as I finish a job off. More news as it breaks

I don't get the eagerness for a striker thats strong in the air when we have hardly any players that can cross the ball bar the occasional good Aurier ball.

I guess its so we can go long from the back and the striker can hold it up for others to get involved?

FWIW Dan Kilpatrick at the Standard was the only one to predict Ndom, Gio and Sess last window. Very early on too.

Strikers are so hit and miss. So we really have to wait and see. I think WJ is better than nobody.
