I would make that move in a heartbeat if Levy was also willing to spend the money to bring in a quality player to play as a CM to fill the role that Ndombele was brought into to play.

Adding Skriniar and not filling the hole in CM would just be shuffling chairs on the titanic in my view.

The goal was absolutely not Dier’s fault. The guy whiffed on the cross and Davies would have blocked it if he’d connected. It’s a weird ass fluke of a goal where Palace got a lucky bounce.

I don't know if I would say it was his fault but he certainly was god awful on that play and contributed to it. I think others did as well, and a bit of bad luck, but a better defender than him deals with that ball so it never gets as far as it did.

And high balls are supposed to be his speciality, although tough to deal with it when you can't read the play like Dier.

Them and Chelsea are showing real ambition and intent, think we will do well to finish top six again, totally cannot compete with these clubs.
