If we sell Tanguy and Dav then this club is properly cooked. Dav was excellent at the end of the season and has had one iffy season with us due to him being in and out of the side. Though he's rarely played, Tanguy has looked to be our most impressive midfielder on the ball. The bloke helped us get points against city twice. Would be mind-numbingly stupid business

I tend to agree but what's worse is him sitting around on the bench for another year. This manager just doesn't seem to trust him or be able to get him to contribute.

Like you most of us like what we see when he is on the ball, but if he's never going to play then i'd say let him go and get someone that we can actually get to use on the pitch.

I have so many issues with this hear me out :

2) The price being touted for him is £45m , isn't that only £5m more than Man city played for Ake . Ndombele on a long term contract being young and one of the hottest prospects and Nathan Ake a relegated player is valued at only £5m less. Bizarre.

A few points worth considering:

City have just been given a green light to spend what they like after that shambles of a FFP ruling. They probably need a home grown quota player but it also cock blocks the rest of us mere mortals from bagging cheap bargains from Bournemouth as they won't be in a rush to sell players as desperately.

As for the players themselves, City are in need of talented CB's with PL experience. They only lost 2 less games than us this season which says something. They can't even beat us lol. Their attack is what kept them in second this season.

Also, Ndombele is so exciting but if we're honest he has been a flop. As a fan I expect players to go out and try their absolute hardest because they are paid handsomely to do so. He struggled to take his beanie off whilst warming up before a match. Calculators haven't been invented yet that could tally the number of dicks I would suck to be on his income. He can't even be bothered to fucking run around a bit in a warm up.

Ndombele is the broken down Ferrari in the garage and Ake is the Vectra that just flew through it's MOT. City prefer the Vectra I guess whilst we get bragging rights to owning a Ferrari that doesn't run.

I know it will never happen but if we could somehow work it out so we could get both Skriniar and Barella from Inter that would be amazing. I doubt they give up Barella, although with Ndombele coming in they play similar spots on the field. Likely it would only be a swap for both but a set-up like this would be very nice for next season:

Kane
Son-GLC-Bergwijn
Barella-PEH

Barella would be the deep lying player that would allow GLC to play closer to the front and still be able to create from

Anyways like a pipe dream as I said and I always do this getting excited about getting players that can really help us and are top level talent only to be disappointed when we add guys like Moura instead.

Interesting and he's a solid reporter regarding Serie A.

Time will tell but if these rumblings are true then I guess we're starting to see how real Ndombele's 'niggle' was at the end of the season to keep him off the bench.

I've said this before but I'll trust José's judgement on this one. I wanted Ndombele to work out but if the head coach doesn't think it will, I'm not one to disagree.

Is anyone actually surprised with this hasbeen washed up manager? Like, everyone knew what we was getting into, the second we appointed Mourinho. A poisonous presence in the dressing room. Same guy who nearly destroyed Hazard's career at Chelsea. Same guy who tried to destroy Ronaldo and Ramos at RM. Same guy who wanted to swap Martial for Willian. Same guy who tried destroying Pogba at United. The list is endless, and yet people are somehow surprised with the treatment Tanguy has been getting. A lot would say when things went south this season, Pochettino wasn't the answer; that may very well be true, but fuck Mourinho certainly ain't no fucking answer. I'd rather have Roberto Martinez or Rafa Benitez than this washed-up excuse of a manager.
Seriously? Break it up

I would prefer to keep Sanchez as well to take over for Toby next season as well as be the main back-up in case of injury/rest, but if we move Sanchez to make a major upgrade to Skriniar that is hardly stupid. Especially if we can sell him for enough money to get a decent addition in at CM where we would have bigger need if we move Ndombele and add Skriniar.

I agree with you on everything except for Rafa Benitez and Roberto Martinez.

I don't think it's official (unlike that Real Madrid "partnership"), but it seems like we have some kind of a closer relationship with Inter. We've played them pre-season a few times and also had that Spurs Legends vs Inter Forever match for the new stadium.

Embarrassing stuff from an enic mouthpiece Airfixx Airfixx trying to convince us Ndombele real value is 40m.

The valuations posted do not even take factors like age, potential, contract length into consideration. Those valuations are highly unstable and incosistent as they base purely on players current form.

Ndombele has barely had a chance to play regularly in a team that has just had it worst season in 10 years, while Brozovic has consisntently started for a team that has just had it best season in 8/9 years, yet both of their valuations are almost the same.

Imagine if Ndombele has a 9/10 season in a successful team next season, wouldn't his value shoots up to 100m+? How much would Brozovic value decrease next season if he stays injured for 70%of the season? 20m? 15m?

Warning: I have seen maybe 90 minutes of this gent this year, but I am sorry, we need to keep Ndombele and build the team around him. Skriniar is good, but I don't think he is a VVD signing. Ndombele has the ability to create havoc in the middle to final third. He is someone I build my team around.

I would be happy with Skriniar. But I think we are screaming for a DM that will allow Ndombele to shine. He really is good guys. He would do so much for GLC and Kane.

He is never going to play under Jose, or at least that is what we are getting from the tea leaves. This is my issue with the Jose appointment. Look at Man U. They are turning the corner, but some of that talent was locked out by Jose and now are doing quite well. A manager should never be so stringent in his application that he refuses to use some players around him; unless you are dealing with a truly rotten apple.

Brozovic's market value is probably 30-40m. Ndombele is not worth 60-80m.

There is a 5-10m difference in value tops. Stop overvaluing our players. If Levy was offered 45m for Ndombele he'd take it in a heartbeat.

I know many of you are unable to accept this reality but Ndombele has flopped hard. His season was beyond shocking in every way (off/on pitch, integration and ability to adjust to England). Sell asap and cut our losses.

The best thing will be when he goes the insane Ndombele defence brigade will stop posting absolutely lunatic things to defend him on here. I will be so happy. So so happy.
Ndombele is worth 70/80 as much as Brozovic is worth 35/40.

Put Ndombele in a midfield 3 at City next to Fernandinho and KdB or a Leicester team next to Ndidi and Maddison , in one year time no one would question his valuation at 80m.

The dinosaur has unfortunately managed to convince you Ndombele is average and no better than Sissoko, shame.

By the time he finally fucks off there will be so much damage done it is going to take us at least 3 years to even have a sniff at CL football.

We can only pray our bald accountant pulls the trigger by valentine day 2021 at the latest.

In which fantastical universe is Ndombele starting at Mcity though? Guy can't play in a Pepe team for even 20 minutes Lmao.

If he'd be an 80m player don't you think Pep would go get him for 40m right now?

The self delusion some people are capable of is simply awesome.
