Recent links to Celik, Hojbjerg, Wilson, Benrahma, Kim seems to show a strategy focused on less star names but more balance throughout with extra competition. I honestly think if Aurier does leave that we could see another RB come in because, let’s be honest if we want a balanced squad a like for like simply won’t be sufficient enough, unless the club has plans for Japhet to offer versatility there.
It’s looking like an interesting summer, one very different to the last one where we seem to be trying to patch something together to get a squad system in place that isn’t now so lop sided looking.

I had the fortune of disagreeing with him on something he said and within a day I noticed that I could no longer login. The comment was something harmless. He's so precious over there. Obviously linked to those that run the site and his 'tell u nothing' scoops are used to drive traffic on the site itself. Amazingly some people who in fairness seem very knowledgeable on the game itself believe what he says and continually quote him.
Wilson can fuck off, he's just a taller version of Defoe, his all round play is shit, he offers nothing like Kane does (on a good day anyway) in terms of hold up etc, and he's not even a prolific goalscorer.
Watkins, Leao, Rebic or even fucking Cavani for a couple of years on a free makes more sense, all better footballers, all can play more than just as striker and all better strikers.

Don’t see the similarity to Defoe at all. Wilson’s always been a good team player for Bournemouth, and he’s physical and tough. More importantly, I think he’d be able to deal with being a back-up player at this stage of his career and not get to down about it. Yeah, he’s not like Kane, but if the price is right he’ll do. Would rather we spent real money on a proper RB anyway.
