Watkins hasn’t shown up in three matches where Brentford could have won promotion. Stoke, Barnsley and Fulham. He seems like a talented guy but a bottler on the big stage. Not keen.

They are very good at developing their own players. Since it appears that a loan is being considered, my concern is whether or not they would genuinely be interested in developing another team’s player.

The Chinese TW doesnt open until September, so its highly likely that the Chinese club doesnt want to sell Kim until they can get a replacement in.

And they will probably use the timeuntil TW opens to try to ratchet up the price for KIm by talkimng to other clubs - but even if the deal is already done....prepare to wait until September.

Yeah I don’t necessarily get excited by him... but if you’re using Defoe as a negative label then you’re crazy. We’d love a poacher of his quality (obvs. prime Defoe not last year or so).

Yeah I know negotiations could fall through because of this, or players would only arrive on deadline day is also a possibility, but I feel the club should always try to get the best deal, football player values are arbitrary anyway.
