I'd take Suarez ahead of Wilson or any of the others we're linked with. He's still good enough to score goals in the Premiership. Massive cunt of course but beggars can't be choosers.

Err, again, THFC own the stadium, revenues from the stadium go to THFC. Profits from those revenues go to THFC. ENIC are majority owners of THFC. Eventually ENIC will want to make some money on their investment - or else why would they bother, but a) they haven't taken any share of profits for over a decade b) some of those profits will still be used (and evidence suggests most of them) to keep improving the football team, which is still THFC's biggest revenue generator.

1.Owner of club knows that to make money from their investment/ownership, the business they own most make money, to make money that business has to perform well.

2. performing well involves pitch success because that pitch success will drive:

a) Match day stadium revenue (tickets, food beverage, merchandise)
b) Sponsorship revnue
c) Global merchandise revenue
which all get added to:
d) The omnipresent TV revenue
