Doherty is not the upgrade on Aurier, that some are making out . I await his mauling with intrest he is a steady decent journey man who has found a fit in Nunos system. I get we don't have money but we are now taking risk averse to mad levels. This is the strangest squad rebuild. I just hope we look for at least real quality in the two more we bring in.You have been asked the question plenty of times but ducked the answer.
Given that Aurier was always going, who is better but younger and at a modest cost
Doherty to me looks like an upgrade as he doesnt have Aurier's errors - and being HG when Aurier leaves it frees up another Overseas trained player place (and we are short of overseas trained player places).

Costa is the oldest 31-year-old since Benjamin Button.
I’d take Costa for a couple of years. A winner, winners mentality, he loves Jose and Jose loves him. Proper cunt who will do the dirty work and capable of playing with Kane.
Is there not a little bit of fear that a big name striker, especially one Mourinho has a history with, could end in Mourinho feuding with Kane and leading him toward the exit door?

I don't think that we are seriously in for Costa. This seems like his agent shopping him around. Is there not a little bit of fear that a big name striker, especially one Mourinho has a history with, could end in Mourinho feuding with Kane and leading him toward the exit door?
I think there ought to be zero doubt that kind of rift could develop. I would very much like to think Levy would sack Mourinho before irreparable damage was done in the club's relationship with Kane, but you never know.
Yes, yes, competition for places and all that, but we can't recreate our top couple of players the way Mou's previous employers could.
And we get Cunt Dele backI just realized.
Diego Costa and Erik Lamela on the same team.
Is that legal?
Despite his behaviour on the field, Costa is surprisingly very popular outside of it. Costa is not the type of player to cause issues in the dressing room. That said I think he's past it, so he wouldn't be my number 1 choice by any means. Is there not a little bit of fear that a big name striker, especially one Mourinho has a history with, could end in Mourinho feuding with Kane and leading him toward the exit door?

I more see it as a Zlatan-esque signing. Someone experienced, a winner comes in to change the mentality. Levy wouldn’t allow Kane to be sold like that. As you say, he’s sack Jose before agreeing to sell Kane.Is there not a little bit of fear that a big name striker, especially one Mourinho has a history with, could end in Mourinho feuding with Kane and leading him toward the exit door?

You are comparing Stengs Eredivisie stats with Bergwijn's PL stats. Bergwijn scored 5 assisted 10 in 1300 mins in Eredivisie in the 19/20 season.
Watching him in CL Looks like his legs have gone. Wasn’t really aware he was on the pitch.

Suarez is the same. Agents trying to earn their corn I think.
I agree, especially considering the sources.Watching him in CL Looks like his legs have gone. Wasn’t really aware he was on the pitch.
