People however, including me need to recognise a few things.

One is that this could descend into a horror show if we are not careful. It's unlikely but it's possible and people can take that at Its worst outcome bevause it's a possibility in my opinion.

We have to find an identity and we have to find some freshness. We have to quickly try to return to being either tough to play against or destructive in whatever capacity.

Right now we are arguably a nothing club with a nothing team. Or at least that is what it will feel like if we don't show ambition on and off the field.

Dramatic? I hope so but the danger signs are flickering if not flashing.

One thing for sure, like the start of last season under Pochettino who couldn’t turn 6 months of poor league form around with a new season and nor will Mourinho, that today was Spurs post Covid lockdown, nothing has changed, it’s fucking woeful....now people will look to post covid restart, but half those teams were on the beach already if we’re honest....
This is another lost season, I know that’s dramatic after only one game, but we are starring at the same old problems which stick out like a lighthouse at sea...The remaining transfer window isn’t gonna solve this..I mean we ain’t bringing in a Centre Half to replace Verts, a left back to replace Rose, a midfielder to replace Dembele, a midfielder to replace Eriksen or a Striker to replace, well a striker, that is 150m right there, minimum!!

Mate he won the world cup

Might not be perfect but making the chaotic, fragmented French team into a good unit where big characters played for each other and won the biggest trophy in sport isn't something anyone can do.

But anything to slag off one of our players!
 
More than make new signing we need to stop insisting in playing mediocre players like Dier, Davies, Winks, Dele, Lucas, how a team with all this deadweight is supposet to perform?

In Ndombele's best season; he got 1 goals and 7 assists in the farmers league. Thats less than Aurier did for us last season. GLC only managed 6 assists in La Liga.

Unless they dramatically change their style of play; neither of them is going to be picking up anywhere near Eriksen level of assist. In fact, in his half season last year; where Eriksen was 'crap' he got 7 goals, 6 assists. .
 
Keep buying lower prem/championship players and then wonder why they're playing so poorly. Don't get Mourinho's fetish for massive strikers either, quite literally the opposite of what this team needs up front to compliment Kane. It's just dumb.

How many of that lot do you want playing every week? Because for me it's maybe 3-4 and they aren't nailed on starter quality at all. This is what happens when you largely try to save money instead of getting the best option available at some extra cost. Keep in mind that we've also signed the likes of Holtby, Stambouli, Capoue, nkoudou, njie (who I reckon would have been handy about now), and Paulinho; how many of our transfers in the last decade have worked out in comparison to how many haven't? The list is absurd, what the hell are levy and the scouts doing?
 
This is my issue, sign two fantastic players and what difference does it make to the lack of effort and intensity in the game yesterday?

It’s like the players don’t want to run for the manager and the manager doesn’t know what to do.

If we hadn’t come so far it wouldn’t have been so depressing
