Alli has been way off form for a while now, in fact his only recent good period was when Jose initially took over. GLC is very talented, and is crucial for us to have any control over the game, but he's never had many goals or assists at any club he's been at. He's not that sort of player. Lucas is hard working, but not reliably a goal threat. Bergwijn is adapting to the PL.

I've been bemused at this fixation on having a moderately good back up striker for Kane. It is important for our squad, but not a priority compared to a creative midfielder with spark.

fyi, Lo C elso had 9 goals and 5 assists in 32 matches at Real Betis.

Obviously played in a more attacking role than he has done at Spurs.

I know about his Real days, and at Chelsea they scored plenty of goals. However he keeps on selecting Lucas, he keeps picking Sissoko, our only attacking play is playing the ball to the right back and expecting him to provide chances. Yes we need a creative midfielder but we are not being linked to any so obviously it's not a priority. Dele should be nowhere the first team but Jose wants him in the team

With the players we have we are going to grind out results. When it doesn't work like yesterday it is horrible to watch and unfortunately that's down to the tactics.
 
Ndombele could be the creative midfielder that we need, but it's impossible to know because he only ever gets a run out when the team is trailing and our opponents have started shutting the game down.
