He isn't perfect but you can't tell me you'd rather see the likes of Winks , sissoko and Hoijberg waddling about in the centre of the pitch giving the ball away every time they try and pass it 1cm forward

I only saw that episode yesterday. What an absolutely joker he came across as. Fuck me. Just completely and utterly inept. When he was talking about Bergwijn. “He’s exactly the player we need”. Was he having a laugh? Another winger in that mould was literally the LAST position we needed ffs.

I think he’s quite different to Kane mate. Anytime I’ve seen him play he reminds me of Tevez. I think he’d be a great signing and his tigerish style of play would suit the PL, but there’s no way we’d pay what Torino want.
Completely agree mate. No issue with Bergwijn who I hope will eventually be an excellent player, but the last thing we needed was another fucking winger. If they felt we needed to get Bergwijn because it was to good a deal to turn down, then that’s great, but that should not of impacted our striker purchase. They should of bought in Bergwijn, plus a striker we desperately needed and that would of been a successful window. Instead our prick of a chairman and Hitchen etc put square pegs In round holes all the time by thinking “ well Bergwijn can play up top” , when clearly he’s not a striker and never will be. Do you think we ever receive bids for players such as Lamela, Dier, Winks, Dele etc? I feel one of the reasons why we can't rebuild the squad is it seems so difficult to shift some of our first teamers. Surely someone must be interested?

Man city for winks, and er that's about it .
Dele use to have rumours abound ,about him going elsewhere.Can't recall the last time i heard one.
I don't disagree (and the lack of running/energy is obvious) but it also feels like there just isn't the quality in the squad that we, including the hierarchy of the club, seems to think there is.
It's one of the most basic things in football but we've become a creativity vacuum: the headless chicken meme hasn't been more apt than on Sunday. The problem is probably compounded as I'd bet a bit of brilliance on the pitch would also kick them up the arse to run harder.

Winks and Dele are prime examples of players we should have sold when their stock was high. Hindsight of course, is a wonderful thing.
Winks could be a decent backup to Rodri tbf and I think he would suit their playstyle better.
Danny Ings? If I were scouting a player the first thing I’d say about Ings is he had one season where he scored a lot of goals, last season, in a team where he basically played every single game....not where I’d be spending my 50m....
However, it could be one of those Beardsley Liniker, Sutton Shearer, Yorke Cole, Henry Bergkamp, situations...which I’d be good with......Effectly ending Alli’s career, and I’m good with that too....
He would be allowed to do what he is good at and it would benifit them that's for sure.

I agree with this. I think for Dele to rebuild his career he should move abroad and step out of his comfort zone. This takes 'BiG BaLLz' as Jose says.
He doesn't look like a player willing to do that though.Not going by body language etc.
