We already have a left back that can't defend so at least Reguilon offers something in an attacking sense.

I've never been so negative about a signing since Janssen who like Sorloth had 1 good season and many crap ones prior.

Don't see why Ings would wanna come.... Just had a career best season at his boyhood club and is banging on the door for a Euro's spot... Why bin that in favour of our bench?

If he was leverage-able, I could totally see Utd or City seducing him with a fat wage to help the HG stats.

Spend the thick end of 100m on Grealish cos "at least he's better than Sissoko" and Reguillon cos even though he's shit at defending he might whack a few crosses in.... Then assume there's still 300kpw knocking about for Bales wages.

3-5-2 as Nabil Bentaleb Nabil Bentaleb suggests perhaps? Somethings got to change with this god awful system. Play Doherty and Regulion with sess and aurier as back ups.

Hojberg actually sitting with locelso/Ndombele ahead and Kane with Son/new striker up top?

If Jose is staying he has to try something different surely, absolutely ZERO of our midfielders can operate in a pivot successfully.
