Transfers Summer 2020 Transfer Thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

The pull Mourinho still possesses is incredible. Reguilon ditches the idea of a move to Man Utd after one chat with Jose. Doherty leaves Wolves for Spurs because of Jose and we’re bringing Bale back.
Why must we create a false narrative for everything. ManU backed out of the deal due to the buy-back. We know this from reporting and much of the convo yesterday was about DL swallowing his pride because he/we are desperate. And Doherty coming to us is Mendes and a payday.

You do know that the BS players say when they get to where they are going is just PR right? Every club Robbie Keane played for wasn't really his childhood dream. You get that, right? And you also get that every manager of every team with a bid for a player actually calls the player, right? If a manager CBA to talk to you and tell you how he sees you fitting into his teams would you actually go to that team? And in Reguilon's case if Sevilla could actually afford his fee he wouldn't be here or at ManU because he'd be baking in the sun in Andalusia.

I don't understand the creation of false narratives and revisionism.

Think we will see Davies playing just as much but tucked in and form the left centre back in a three. When of course we play that shape. Expecting that in tough away games like Citeh or Liverpool.

4-3-3 or even 4-4-2 at home hopefully! With all the might we will have going forward..

We signed baldy Bale yet?
I’d be surprised if it’s announced formally today as we are out of the country and I’m guessing that the reveal will come after we’ve hopefully taken care of business in Bulgaria and got home safely.

If brains were gold, you'd be a pauper, witless.

That is one hell of a lineup but it relies on 3 big ifs.
Toby's lack of pace not being exposed.
which relies on #2: Sanchez Finally FINALLY proving his transfer fee.
Ndombele getting his act together

Yeah I'm doubtful we ever see that 11 together but my god it looks fun on paper.

I agree that the centre backs look like the weak point in the team. We don't have a terrible group of CB's but they're not amazing so we may have to hope the rest of the team makes up for their deficiencies.
