I have to say I am caught between two minds about this, the injuries, the price etc but also that he might ruin his impeccable legacy with us.

It doesn’t? What......somebody has been telling me porkies I’ll be having words with Mrs EliMore money than sense, some people (says she who spends that on face cream that supposes to get rid of wrinkles!)
Year with an option to extend for another year apparently. So any news anywhere on the nature of the deal, or just that it's a season long loan?
Seems like we have an option to extend the loan for another season if we want to, which I’d expect if he does at least OK.So any news anywhere on the nature of the deal, or just that it's a season long loan?
He could have gone to a bigger club, if he had wanted to. He wanted to come home though, to us. This is a player who wants to regain that feeling, that link with the fans, which he has not had at Real. Back to a club which has progressed since he left but which has still fallen short. He wants to win something here, be instrumental in delivering that, and shove Real's face in it.
For me this is what football is all about. I remember the magic of Bale's goals, they were unfathomable. That late winner against West Ham will always be in my memory. It was like a nuclear bomb. It was pure glory. And he's back, chances are that we get to experience more of that feeling. What could be better? Incredible signing in my view.
@AlasdairGold: Gareth Bale returns home to Tottenham Hotspur. It's a season-long loan and as I said yesterday morning Spurs have the option to keep him for a second season until his Real contract ends.So any news anywhere on the nature of the deal, or just that it's a season long loan?
Told by a mate Nike wanted to do publicity shots at the stadium to have them ready immediately but due to people dicking about on the roof on Friday they couldn’t.
They also need to photo him in the whole Spurs training gear range so could take a few days as the club let people wander around the roof day and also night?
Once they have the photos ready they are happy to let Spurs announce the deal.
Real coup for them having Bale in Nike gear.
(He works zero hours contract at Sports Direct so he’s well informed about this stuff, they sell loads of Spurs stuff and Mike Ashley wants pictures of Bale in Spurs stuff in all their stores too.
Top ITK if you ask me)
...sounds like you're in two stools about it too!!I have to say I am caught between two minds about this, the injuries, the price etc but also that he might ruin his impeccable legacy with us.
Rightio.Scouse...
I am scouse, scum and anything but a spur supporter because of course, it is unacceptable and impossible that there is a fan of spurs who has a different thought.
The dictatorship of the single thought reaches the forums of The Fighting Cock
How so?
