For me this is what football is all about. I remember the magic of Bale's goals, they were unfathomable. That late winner against West Ham will always be in my memory. It was like a nuclear bomb. Nicely put. People need to remember this was a player who, when in the mood, wasn't good, or even very good, but actually unplayable. The question is how much of that has he got left in the tank? I reckon we get 75% of what he was - if that's the case it will be a terrific signing.

Love that he mentioned trophies about half a dozen times in the interview. Anyone who doesn’t agree that now is the time to win things is welcome to go and support the spammers.
