Please can it work, we need Tanguy and Gio to prove they can play together.
To me, Jose is looking for more players to progress the ball forward and get our finishers (Son/Kane) into good positions to score. This also allows him to keep his preferred midfield/defensive structure (Sissoko/Hojbjerg) as well.
The right wing is the one spot up for grabs with Bale recovering from illness/getting fit and Lamela/Lucas/Bergwijn not doing enough to keep the spot, so this make alot of sense even if it's not Lo Celso's best position.
This suits them , rather a Brighton win TBH as they would go above the cunts
Or Son or Kane scores more.
Tanguy AND Lo Celso spraying passes should create more easier chances for the strikers.
