Player Heung-Min Son (손흥민)

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Always the same problem with this club, the managers have no bollocks.
We’ve had so many cup games to try a new front line.
So many poor games to experiment and try something new.

But no, Son and Kane the 90 minute men no matter what.

Drop them both and start Bale, Vinny and Lamela next game
Don't you think it's just about time to start supporting another team. I am done

No risk for us on Wednesday. Rest Son, Kane, and Hojbjerg. Start a mix of kids and established players.

I want to see Bale play, but would prefer to see him go 90 minutes against Burnley.

This guy is not gonna extend his contract isn't he...
The way this looks he could just stall and wait for a big money contract.
If either him or Harry are showing signs that they want to leave they will both kneejerk and move for big money.
Both in their prime with a team around them that needs serious capital injection.

We all romanticize but sooner or later even these two will be fed up.

Unlikely to extend his contract. It runs until 2023 I believe. So we either try to cash in this summer, get another year out of him and sell him for a decreased fee due to contract and his age or lose him for free.

He's on a big contract and I am not convinced the elite teams will see him as their top target this summer.

We should let him go. This team needs to rebuild. 70-80 million would be a good enough fee considering his age. He's got maybe 2 years left as far as being a top player is concerned. All downhill from there.

Agree as long as he wants to go. If he isn't going to resign of course it has to happen. Even if not unless Kane wants to stay it's unlikely to be enough one of these next two seasons, and the club would be better off selling him to fuel the rebuild. This all hurts but it's best to try and remain objective at times like this, like going through a bad breakup.

Some season left to play for, but if the squad pulls off a miracle makes top 4 and Jose stays, it will have been I think a pyrrhic victory.

If we get that level of a fee then I agree that we should probably let him go.

With less spending, even by the elite clubs, happening I am not convinced that level of offer will come for Son.

The likes of Haaland and Sancho will be top of the list of potentially available, top level players. I believe Neymar and Mbappe have a year left on their current deals so they might also be available but who knows maybe PSG will put part of that into as a short term replacement.

I think Haaland, Sancho, Mbappe and Neymar as a front four sounds decent.
