Shouldn't really matter why he isn't 3rd choice for Real.

Bale couldn't even get a look in and they didn't event want Reguilon enough to keep him around.

If he's right for us and our manager wants him, that is all that should matter. I haven't seen much of Militao at Real Madrid but Nabil Bentaleb Nabil Bentaleb loves him and considering he would have seen every game of his when at Porto, I'd trust his judgement.
Fair, if Porto fans rate him that’s good news.

The Reguilon comparison isn’t completely analogous though. Real had Marcelo and bought Mendy, so when Reguilon showed amazing form on loan it was okay for them to cash in.
Meanwhile Real are going to sell Ramos so did have a vacancy at CB, but they aren’t going to fill it with Militao.

Yes

He is young enough that for a low price I would take a chance, like I said not my preferred option but if we aren’t getting what we need anyway I would prefer to go cheap than 40-50 million.
If you have watched him and still think he is worth a gamble, I can only assume you want someone new to moan about, else you should try watching badminton.

We dont need anyone thats worse than Rodon

Militao was the best center back I saw at Porto in large large years. Maybe the best since Carvalho and then Pepe. Great on the ball. Really good starting the play and burning opposition pressing lines. And he’s fast as fuck. He was at times caught on position but his pace was amazing. He costed 5 millions and 6 months later Real Madrid paid his 50M clause. We could move the defensive line up more 5-10 metres just because of him. Oh and he can also play RB easily. Or even Dm. He was a DM a lot of time in Brazil for São Paulo.

Why is he below Nacho in pecking order at Real?

Madrid is a strange place. Zidane always plays his favourites.
Not in this case.

He had his chances and was shit. He has a low football iq and makes bad decisions e.g. the red card against levante was unwarranted.

Militao is similar to Sanchez in that he is found wanting once his athleticism is not far superior to the attackers and thus cannot cover up his blunders

Nacho is a very mediocre CB but he is still better than Militao

Bad positioning, bad judgement = No!

Ivan Toney from Brentford. 25+ goals this season so far
looks a very good player and certainly better than Champo level. Proven goal scorer in England. Home Grown too. You'd think £20-25m

25 years old and first season he has really produced. Has been knocking around the Newcastle squad for years with little interest.

One season wonder or has something finally clicked?

Scoring goals in the championship has always been a different beast to the EPL. Mtrivoc being a good example.

Scored goals in league 1 before this season and is younger than Ollie Watkins @ Villa

Aarons looks likely, id actually sell Docherty and extend Aurier for another year if we can't get two RB, and try really hard for Milenkovic. Add him to Aarons Skipp Sabitzer we would be a lot better.

I’ve seen aarons a few times and he must have a great agent because he’s no better than KWP and definitely a downgrade on even Aurier. If he came here he’d have the same complainers who moan about Doherty doing the same with him after 5 minutes.

25 is a good age to sign a striker. Experienced 252 professional games, 100 goals, played brilliantly for Peterbrough, goal every other game, 25 in 32 for Brentford. His hold up play is good, his technique is good, finishing strong.

I think he'd make a good option for the squad.

Although, he could be a player that needs a year in the prem to adjust, as you rightfully say, its a different beast. Yet we create a good number of chances now we have changed tact.

If Brentford dont get promoted this year, his agent will be busy.

Updated algorithm/ cheat code for Levy:

CB: Dier (27M) → Militao (27M)

CB: Sanchez & Foyth (27M) → P. Torres (40M)

CM: Sissoko (5M) → Skipp

CM: Alli (30M) → Sabitzer (30M)

LW: Lucas (12M) → Sessegnon

ST: Vinicius → Weghorst (30M)

Net spend: £26M

Really hope a few good performances from that back 4 doesn't make people forget that we really need at least 1 new CB and probably a RB to depending on what happens with Aurier.
