The player in question being Rodrigo Varanda. 18 year old forward/second striker playing for Corinthians according to transfermarkt. Valued at 8.5 mil.
Probably a signing for the youth team to begin with that could be fast tracked to the first team if he shows that he has it. Like Martinelli at the Goons.
For that price it is probably worth the gamble.
Fans of their club don't rate him much. Better ways to spend money just judging from his YouTube videos.
He is a great player and we have shown an interest before but would we have the budget to make a marquee signing like him I’m not so sure I think we desperately need a new Gk and defenders more then attacking midfielders
Aside from Rodon Levy seems to be afraid to buy players from the Football League. Even though Dele was one of our most amazing value signings of all time.
Grealish, Maddison, Eze, Watkins, we looked at all of them and let other clubs take them. Now they are worth double what they cost before, triple in the case of Grealish and Maddison. I hope that we will go back for Max Aarons but Levy will probably let some dodgy agent talk him into buying someone shit.

Players from the league are fantastic for drive until the skill can be drilled into them. Some of our players are happy to collect a paycheck every week with zero care factor.

You have to admit, Stengs having only 1 assist more than Bergwijn this season, despite playing in a weaker league, and almost 1300 mins more is a concern.People are going to question the Stengs idea due to his stats in a league where many put up big numbers, but his vision is something else. I stand by my comment. If Bale was playing as much as Kane; he would have as many (if not more) goals and assists.

37 of those days missed by Bale were during his transfer from Madrid to Spurs.

There are 60 points on offer from teams in the bottom half. How many points have we dropped?
Last time I checked, 3 points against Fulham is the same as 3 points against Chelsea.

We play against 3 or 4 teams better than us in the EPL; many more below us.
Bale missed 7 games this year due to injury, Kane has missed two.
I don't care about days missed the last 3 seasons we are talking about this past season and Bale has not shown he has close to the fitness or health to match Kane's minutes.
Its great that there are 60 points against those teams but the majority of the league is above 13th place so there is little reason to think Bale will score against the better teams when he hasn't shown that he can score at anything close to the same rate he is against weak teams.
We are not talking about whether the goals Bale scores against those teams are important or not we are talking about Bale being able to produce playing more minutes against better teams.
Its not teams better than us it is teams better than 13th.
Oh really, the whole club trained thing doesn't count? Or is he not considered club trained since he has spent the last two years away?
