[Le 10 Sport] "Christophe Galtier could leave Lille at the end of his contract, with Nice and Lyon interested. Nice are ready to offer him a contract of €360,000 per month, which is double his current salary."

If those numbers are correct then we can easily outbid Nice for Galtier's services.

Come on Levy. Do it.

He's the kind of manager a club like Southampton take a chance on. If he's like Pochettino then a bigger club gives him a job but for every MoPo there's 2 or 3 Claude Puels or Remi Gardes. Way too risky.

I'll disagree to that. Galtier has proven himself for years in France. He's ready for a move abroad and he is good enough to manage at a big club.

You can make the argument for a number of managers including Potter, Julen Lopetegui, Marcelo Gallardo that they are ready to either step up or go abroad.

Point is outside of Rogers or Benitez (I don’t want him by the way!) anyone we pick has an element of risk. But personally I think we should take a risk if the manager fits the profile of the club.

This guy is used to working with an experienced DoF set up with good scouting and recruitment.

And I think Galtier would work.

His football is not the prettiest but it is prettier than Jose's. And far more attack inclined.

I think Levy has all his chips on Rodgers coming. He'll make him a very tempting offer, and sell the club to him. TBH we should be pulling out everything to get him, as he is the best of the rest in my opinion. The likes of Pep, Klopp, Zidane aren't coming here.. Poch wont be back yet, and the others aren't as good as Rodgers.

Personally think he'd be foolish to leave Leicester, although we are bigger and are just waiting for the right man.. He already has that platform at Leicester, and is safe in his job.

Neither do I. Just sounds like another stick to beat us with if you ask me. There’s no way, with what we know of levy, that he agrees to such a clause in a contract for that to happen.

Why wouldn't it be true? All the info we have suggests we owed Mourinho 16 million. He could have sat on his arse and got that over the next two years. And we know Mourinho is highly money orientated. This way he gets his money and we save 8 million or so. What this does show is how much we overpaid Mourinho by. He's only been able get half what we paid him.

We wouldn't touch Sarri with a bargpole. It's been him and his camp pushing the links. More have come out because he thought he was nailed on for the Roma job. I'll be shocked if the chain smoking hobo ever works in the PL again.

Sarri's one season in the PL he finished third, won Europa and gets to a domestic cup final. Won Serie A last year, Juventus this year are 4th with Pirlo.

I'd have him miles ahead of most names mentioned.
