If there is a third member of the Pep and Klopp club, it's Conte. Do everything to get that guy if possible.

From the ENIC perspective he makes every dollar you spend on the squad more valuable.

Of all the Chelsea sackings under Abramovich he was by far the stupidest.

Conte would be the closest thing to getting Prime Poch back, probably including getting the actual Poch back tbh.
Great manager and we would be lucky to have him but doesn't he like to spend money and lots of it? Not sure Levy and he wil get along at all

Hitchen and levy would wake to this after betraying conte transfers plans lmao

But if Mournhos contract stipulated that we would continue to pay his salary until he finds a new job then we don't owe him a penny more once he takes the new job? The same applied to Poch, he continued to be paid when Levy sacked him until he got the PSG job. It's standard practice, clear and every club seems to operate like this.
PSG will have paid Poch at least as much as we did negating a top up.
Roma won't be paying Mourinho as much.

This idea that some managers like to spend money and some don't is silly.

Top managers are ambitious, Conte has no interest in fighting for fourth every year when he could be winning titles elsewhere. Better results requires a better squad, a better squad requires significant investment. Ipso facto, it's definitional.

Tottenham Hotspur Football Club is going nowhere without spending eye-watering sums in the transfer market going forward. That is table stakes to being a club that's even safely clear of the relegation zone in the Premier League.

Luckily, we are the 9th richest club in the world, have a stadium that is one of the best revenue generators in the sport, and showed clear intent to spend big before Covid came and shook our world up.

Covid of course remains a confounding variable for us and everyone else. But putting that to one side, Tottenham should be seen as a very well funded project. If the kind of investment we saw in Summer 2019 is the new normal, it's just a matter of putting the right personnel in place.

You can just call us Tottenham Hotspur.

Speculate to accumulate.

It will not happen under this lot and even if it did, they don't know how to spend the money on the right talent anyway, 1 hit and 9 misses is, ironically, a bad business model.

Also our wages are nowhere near what top talent demands so yeah, again, can't see it happening.

We were told for years about doing things "the right way" and yet they even went back on that with joining the ESL.

Bunch of crooks trying to swindle the fans imo but people have cottened on to their bullshit now.

Conte is one of the best managers in the world, I just can’t see him coming here

Just won the title with Inter, will want a stab at champions league with them

His Chelsea links are also a worry although I get the feeling he hates them after his sacking

If we could pull it off it would be unbelievable news but it’s a very very difficult one
