Reminds me of Ledley getting a late tackle in a late season win at Everton and being out for the next few games, maybe the rest of the season. The year that Jol just failed to get top4. Very frustrating as it was so unnecessary - he held on to the ball for too long in defence with an easy outball.
I was totally gutted at not getting CL, but looking back on it we just werent good enough. Out in both cups in first game. Everton under Moyes showed how it could turn out in CL when you're just going to get embarrassed.

I didn't get the hype around him initially, why England were desperate for him to switch from representing Ireland. But every time I've seen him play for West Ham over the last year so he's looked a really classy player, especially when he decides to run with the ball. He would probably be better suited to a box to box role really than being used as an anchor type player for England, but needs must. I don't want to ever see Eric Dier playing there again!
