Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I got more stats from SofaScore to find out how many big chances have been missed by the top PL goalscorers. I am also adding Timo Werner and the Brighton boys to the list.

Kane 11
Salah 16
Bruno Fernandes 8
Son 10
DLC 16
Bamford 21
Vardy 19
Watkins 13
Lacazette 9
Wilson 10
Wood 18
Gundogan 5
Iheanacho 8
Rashford 10
Sterling 12
Pereira 2
Ings 6
Aubameyang 6
Zaha 5
Antonio 8
Mane 16
Mahrez 5
Barnes 5
Lingaard 2
Bale 1

Werner 18
Maupay 11
Welbeck 9
Trossard 5

If I didn't know better, I'd say Kane was elite at putting away the better chances, but it seems he may be doing too much speculative shooting (it's hard to say without sitting down to look at each of his 95 shots).

He has to speculate unfortunately. Our midfield doesn't create enough. Kane does plenty of creating and making selfless passes where he could have a solid go at it - he's known as a playmaking 9!

That was a fly by night visit from sammyspurs sammyspurs . Some posters are in the bin almost as soon as they come back.

He’s gone again, madness on his part. I’d prefer him here as he is a good poster for the most part, but he was warned enough times
He's not a good poster. He's someone that desperately needs some type of other outlet for his anxieties and frustrations apart from Spurs and this message board in particular.

We all waste too much time here when our lives would be better and more productively spent elsewhere, but he routinely takes it to an unhealthy and obsessive level.

Frankly, his lack of self-awareness and obsessive behavior on this site is easily construed as abusive behavior, and in light of that I think his very presence on this site is in bad faith and disrespectful to others.

Sammy has cogent moments of reason and sanity where he's not an absolute bore and annoyance to deal with, but about 80% of the time he's in the same league as Arcy.

Right sammyspurs sammyspurs ...IF we sell Kane this summer, how much do you think we'll get and what players would you bring in to improve the team. Go on sunshine, back yourself with a decent argument. You say we're worse off with Kane in the team, so how do we improve.
He won't because he's a troll wanker

I know the bloke goes on at times but Ssmmyspurs is easily one of the more astute and insightful posters. He might be number one in fact. It was he who called Alli and Eriksen way ahead of anyone else.

It really is mob rule when someone can get voted off and a big shame. As for those who vote for anyone unless it's a racist or completely abusive post I just don't get it.

Hope the bloke returns soon but hopefully leaves the Kane debate alone. I hazard a guess that we know his view on the player.

For me the Kane debate is getting silly but is not helped by some worrying and easy to ignore stats. How much of that is the standard of our team or Kane I am unsure but in the games against the top teams he does not make the difference we need. It's really quite clear.

I am firmly in the keep him camp but lots of reasons, principal among them being we have got no chance of finding a better striker or even get two that did the job he does.

In saying that we absolutely do need a 2nd striker who starts to actively compete with Kane as much as needing players/a coach who gets the best out of him.

Kane should not be beyond criticism but there is no real argument for saying we would be better without him which is not the same as saying it's possible.

It's funny, you know. I don't regard Son as a good footballer, but the Beebs's stats say Son has created 58 chances in the PL this season. Kane has created 32. According to SofaScore, both of them have laid on 14 big chances.

infogol say that Kane has pulled the trigger 125 times, strangely enough. 45 on target, 52 off target and 28 blocked. The Beeb say he has had 98 shots.

SofaScore say Kane has banged in 4/50 attempts from outside the box. Son has managed 3/24.

Contracts are marriages. In Champions League Health or out of and in Sickness.

Unless there is a pre nuptial agreement the bloke stays.

The issues are not so severe as to warrant a divorce unless both parties can agree separation terms- unlikely.

Sammy Spurs astute and insightful? You'd have to be a complete moron to be believe that. Or a closet Chelsea fan.

LOL the guy who argued every summer against making any signings from 2017-2019 because we had a perfect 11

who has now flip flopped to saying our entire squad should be sold other than lloris

Eriksen was awful at the time Ssmmyspurs called him out.

Nobody sane would question Eriksen"s contribution for us in his earlier years.

And let's not think Eriksen today is anywhere near the player of 5 years ago. Not a patch.

Sammy Spurs' basic modus operandi is to pick one our best players at any given time and declare them rubbish. He sometimes varies this by picking one of our very worst players and calling them a football genius, such as Dier. He posseses no insight at all and you have to be quite dim to believe he does.

If you want to say anymore about the fucker and lament his passing please do it on the Why did ___ get sent off? thread.
