He can leave, but there's a respectful way to do it. Hazard left Chelsea in a respectful way for example. If it's the case that he and his camp are leaking stories to the press etc to try and force a move, that's not respectful, particularly for someone with his history with the club. I hold him to a higher standard than Modric or Berbatov.
Kane himself has been very open about it. He’s said explicitly that he won’t stay at Tottenham for the sake of it and wants to win trophies. That he’s not happy just winning individual awards.
Nobody should be surprised that he wants to leave. He’s had many opportunities recently to publicly say “I am not interested in leaving Tottenham“ and he never has.

I'm not saying that it would have been guaranteed to work out better if we kept Poch but hopefully if Kane is sold the money is spent with people in place that are going to be here to use the players we buy so that they fit with a long term plan.

Do you know what? I finally watched the most recent NLD last week. I saw a star striker who was above rolling up his sleeves in the first half, and it was hurting us. But something was said at half-time, because he got the finger out in the second half. Several times when a Top-4 place was all to play for, I have seen him walk around the place, and I can't take it anymore.
