Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

End of the day though and you cant deny it. No-one and i mean no-one is bigger than club. Been established since 1882 and we have to support.

No one is saying Kane is bigger than the club though.

But what many will say including myself is we are a much poorer team and a lesser proposition for other players without him. 100%.

Anyone that tries to say anything different is basically a fucking helmet.

I don't know why people are dismissing the possibility. Chelsea would have equalled City's goal tally if they had our table topping chance converision rate. Werner and Havertz have been unmitigated disasters this season. Harry brings as close to a gurantee as you can get in football.

They have only let in 4 more goals than City this term too. They would be genuine contenders with him in the team. And we all know Abramovich is unconcerned about cost.

Harry doesn't even have to move home. I can see it making sense from his perspective.
We don’t do business with the <removed>s.

Full stop.

Unless Levy sells get used to finishing in the bottom half in the coming seasons. I'm not even that bothered as long as we have a long-term plan and start to play football the right away once again. But while Levy remains we'll achieve nothing.

How many times did we finish in the bottom half under Levy pre-Kane?

Why is this time so different that we are going to do something that has rarely happened?

Well the same chairman had the team having success after selling both Bale and Modric. He has us having success before Bale and Modric we here.

We are likely getting a new manager and could potentially get in a new football structure as well so the doom and gloom before we even know who is making the decisions seems a little much.

We have had success before Kane here, it is riduculous to think we can't have it without him. This isn't some sort of lucky run that we jumped up to top 4 after years of being a bottom half club when Kane came here. Yes Levy sucks and yes Hitchens is a moron, but crying that the sky is falling before anything has even happened is pointless.
Enic have won 1 trophy at Spurs in 20 years.
Idiots like you have been told on many occasions that finishing 3rd or 4th is not success.
You are no Spurs fan if you think Enic have been a success at Spurs you deluded prick.

Because our squad is as bad now as I can remember for a start. We're also likely to have a very average manager in next season, as realistically, nobody that's a genuinely top manager or even close will come. At best we'll get a Potter or a Martinez. Brilliant!

I am ENIC Out and have been since day 1 I joined this site and before that so what the fuck are you going on about? I have never once said that ENIC have been a success. What a fucking weird deluded response.

The post I responded to said we would be bottom half, I am pointing out that we have done that once or twice under ENIC pre-Kane so why is it expected that we would go there now when it didn't happen for the most part pre-Kane.

Two things.

This is news to drive betting markets. No more no less.

If it’s not and Kane has said “please release me from the hell that is Tottenham” then see you later Harry.

Honestly, I'm feeling very calm about the whole situation.

I'd love nothing more for him to stay and keep banging out goals, and I don't think that we should just throw in the towel so easily. The reality is though that, as a club, we just can't support him in achieving what he could be elsewhere.

If he leaves, I hope we get a shit ton of money and use it to try and overhaul the squad in a long-term, meaningful way. Hopefully it would be to a club outside of the PL obviously. He would get my thanks and support as I don't think that he owes us anything at this point. If anyone of us were in his situation, 99% of us would probably do the same thing. We've been hurt before by players leaving but came back stronger in the end.

If he stays, hopefully we have a new coach that can do something with this squad, and we make a few really good moves that improves us as a team.

My guess is that he's still here next year due to financial reasons, but we'll see.
This is almost exactly how I'm feeling about it.

The only thing that makes me really nervous is the current scouting infrastructure seems to be sub-par which means the money we would get from a sale might not be invested well.

If we sell Kane but have someone like Campos or Rangnick in place to manage the transition, I'd feel a lot better about it.
