Conte is an EXCELLENT coach. If he doesn't become Spurs manager though there's a big upside, the football would be more enjoyable to watch under many of the other coaches mentioned

For a club like PSG who want a winner and have all that money, why they would not pursue Conte and yet keep a manager who doesn't want the gig is beyond me.

I think Conte would be the more likely of the two to turn us round but believe Pochettino, mistake that it probably would be would make us happier as fans.

Illogical bo!!ocks on my part but I would rather glorious failure under Pochettino than inglorious success with Conte.

It's sometimes about principles.

And as if by magic...

Wishka on SC:
While it prob isn't my place.

Now feels like a good time to suggest a donation drive to help the good folks who run this site and put up with our shite.

I suggest the bigger panic stricken (or drunk) bellend you've been in this thread, the more you consider putting towards SC's coffers.

Again, this might not be my place, so feel free to delete this if you feels it's wrong place wrong time. but donation incoming

Conte lacks European success and PSG's heirachy are much more controlling than Inter's and Chelsea's.

If rumours are true that Poch wants to leave after 6 months to come back to Levy....I can't imagine how bad the higher-ups must be at PSG.

To be fair, if Levy gets Conte, brings in the Sporting Director Conte wants to work with and we recruit the players Conte wants, then Levy will have gone a long way to redeeming himself.

Though I'd stil be ok with Levy/Lewis selling to some Saudi lunatic who wants his team to be number 1 and will spend whatever it takes...

No. I think Conte's football is quite boring, and once he's found what works for the team he will lock that in and almost every single game is like watching the last one. All very functional but unlike the Dinosaur, he will get the 1-0 wins that he didn't.

Conte is extremely clever at getting the most out of the team he has, identifying a way and a balance in which his teams get results.

I like watching my team play attractive attacking football though, this isn't how Conte plays, so if we don't land him I wouldn't shed a single tear of regret.

I've not made a single reference to those to managers, funny neither have the serious press! It would seem that the only people that constantly make references to them are those that are literally wallowing in self-pity and anger and use their names as a justification to get really, really angry about something x10 a day. How many references are you up to now, 20?

My preference is Poch over him but if we appoint him I can't and won't get annoyed about it because I acknowledge he is a World Class Coach.

Not much point talking about any other manager until we see what happens with Poch and him, two we are undoubtedly in the process of trying to land.
